I want say something about why Halo beats Call Of Duty. Quality. Bungie makes sure the bugs are squashed, matchmakings good, the spawn system is great, and there is plenty of customization. I'm basicly saying if Activision made sure the games were good and bug free Call of Duty would be close to halo's quality instead we get new CoD's every year with alright campaigns and one-sided multiplayer. Don't get me wrong i enjoyed and cod 4 the most and MW2's campaign and spec ops but that just proves Infinity Ward should be making the games and not Treyarch. I'm just sick of seeing a franchise that was great at first being degraded and milked for every last penny. Which also makes me want to say "Good luck with Activision, Bungie!"

i never said I wouldn't try it but i would rent black ops i can't speak for my brother who is one of many mindless fans who try to convince others on his beliefs. I'm not convinced any and all series' couldn't use improvement which is why I research games before buying them. I'm saying waw wasn't that great so i'm being cautious about black ops. What it comes down to though is fun. I enjoyed the Reach beta so I'm getting the game. If a demo for Black Ops comes out and I enjoy that then I will probaly get it. But if I notice too many bugs like WaW I won't get it. [Edited on 07.10.2010 7:31 PM PDT]
Trearch is a good company. They have just always been stuck (so to speak) in the WW2 era thus not comparing to all the action that we see in MW2 or COD4. Give them a chance with this one (campaign wise, multiplayer ur on your own lol) and then make your judgement.

How about Bungie, Infinity Ward and Treyarch work together to make a shooter game that will kill all other shooter games? Fanboys united as one.
-
It seems like everyone is missing my point. Call of Duty could be better than Halo if Treyarch and Infinity Ward treated Call of Duty like how Bungie treats Halo.
-
I'm going to take your huge wall -o- text and comprise it into this short easy to understand sentence. Halo destroys CoD in every way, shape and form.

My Theory Bungie> Infinity Ward and Treyarch
-
You act like I could believe half of the things that happened in cod4's and MW2's campaign. The most intense single player experience ever. But Bungie's games usually don't have bugs like that at launch.
-
I'll clear this up before too many misunderstand me I enjoy the modern warfare games they make because it added some variety in a game series that never really changed that much. I enjoyed MW2 but after a while the spawn system and matchmaking system just became the worst possible combo. I'm saying they need to upgrade before the next game because the AI helping isn't them at all. Constantly running in front of me while im shooting. Halo's AI isn't much better but Bungie's proven they're willing to improve the tech they have before coming out with another game and I can tell from Reach's E3 demo the AI isn't perfect but at least improved and thats what Ive been looking for. I'm saying both Infinity Ward and Treyarch both need make upgrades instead of using the same broken tech over and over again. Bungie understood they needed to upgrade so they did. Bungie cares more for their series I'm simply asking for Treyarch and Infinity Ward to do so. But I also look for something I would enjoy playing with friends which cod isn't. Honestly I haven't played Halo 3 since Bungie Day and that was only because of the flaming helmet. [Edited on 07.10.2010 6:30 PM PDT]

Cod is more like a movie when you play, without the great soundtrack by marty, halo wouldnt be as dramatic. i would say that halo has more replayability but Cod has more of a wow! factor when playing these games [Edited on 07.10.2010 6:17 PM PDT]
Posted by: Zomechin Maybe you should have compared CoD to something more crappy to give it a slight chance.
ZING! But anyway, both games are fun and honestly CoD really doesn't lag as much as people complain about it. And I haven't seen any serious glitches in a while.

Instead of looking at trying to bring down MW2 because it's beating Halo 3 in XBL players (is it better? I don't think it is. But it reaches a greater audience), we should appreciate that Bungie made a game so good it took 2-3 years of technology advancing to make a game that could beat it.
Posted by: Mai R0f1C0pt3r Of course halo beats cod. Halo is a video game and cod is a fish. Putting fish in your console is worse than any game. But seriously though why all the comparisons?
Because fanboys need to justify why they play a game?

What about EA?
-
2 different games. But Halo does have fewer bugs. Honestly what it comes down to is that Halo has more variety, heavier story, and fun multiplayer. Cod is for hard core gamers, it has intense fire fights and lots of breathtaking moments.
-
Me and my amigo were playing MW2, we weren't even online and it was lagging.
-
I think that Halo has 'heart' but COD doesn't so that is why halo is better. still COD is pretty fun.
-
I knew that I'm just saying they might luck for the other consoles since they've made they're reputation over the last 10 years making games exclusively for xbox. So PS3 owners might not consider getting their games.
-
Activision are going to publish and distribute games developed by Bungie for the next 10 years. That's all. Activision's role in this agreement is to only publish/distribute games.
-
Why even compare those two games?
