This is probably an old discussion, but I'm curious as to what people think the better controller is between the xbox one and the ps4 based on anything.
brace for the pc master race guys rambling on about how pc mice are far superior, even though no one asked
I have big hands and the xb1 controller is comfy for long gaming sessions.

You can prefer the PlayStation 100%. You can say it has better games, specs, software, doesn't matter. But I always felt like it was pretty objective that Microsoft did controllers the best.

Xboxone because I don't have baby hands

I play ps4 but I like xb1s controller better. I never use dpad and the analog stick is much easier to work with on the xb1 controller.

Bearbeitet von shiloh: 5/29/2017 2:43:20 PMI prefer the DualShock PS4 Controller, but that's probably just because I'm used of it

8 AntwortenI used to be a PS guy. Then i got a 360 instead of a ps3 for my birthday. I instantly fell in love with the style of the controller. Same with Xbone. The ps4 controller is the best dualshock Sony has ever made, but the Xbone controller still feels great.

I feel like the people complaining about the DS4 being too small aren't holding the controller right, TBH.

Bearbeitet von RübblyRanch: 5/28/2017 8:06:37 PMI like using the keyboard and mouse rather than a controller. Unless I'm driving or in a fighting game I can still hold an Xbox controller pretty fine and I don't care, but I find my smallish hands to be more comfortable on the Dualshock. Lets me place my fingers all over the controller while still being somewhat comfortable

Xbox controller by far. Not a fan of the PS4 controller, the options and capture buttons are too close to the touch pad. I do like the speaker on the PS4 controller but it's not enough to make it close for me.
-
Xbox One. I've held the PS4 controller, never used it though.

8 AntwortenWhy do so many people like offset analog sticks? Wouldn't they be better closer together like the PS?

Xbox One Elite

I've never liked PlayStation controllers. I have an Xbox one elite controller and it's by far the best one I've used.
-
I like the Dualshock 4 and Xbox 360 controllers, the resistance in the joysticks is spot on. Xbox Ones joysticks feel like i'm playing with a loose nipple.
-
Xbox elite controller. I'm never going back.
but obviously a keyboard and mouse is superior to any controller
Depends what I'm playing. I find the Xbox controller less comfortable, but more efficient when playing FPS. I'll take the PlayStation controller for pretty much everything else tho. Especially games that rely on the d pad for skill activation (tons of RPGs do this). I have noticed that the Xbox controller is a lot more durable. It usually take me a few weeks to wear down my PlayStation controller...Xbox lasts a few weeks longer.

12 AntwortenMicrosoft makes the best consoles and controllers. This is just a fact PlayStation does not need anything crazy for all their single player games

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von renots6: 5/27/2017 8:20:37 PMthere is a ds4 that is identical to Xbox controller for 35 bucks. But ds4 is way better now.

3 AntwortenThey're both good. I prefer the offset analog sticks, but I can get used to either one. Switch pro controller is good also, except for the fact that they reversed the A/B and X/Y buttons compared to Xbox. It keeps messing me up.

XBox is the controller I prefer and was one of the reasons I opted to buy the XB1 over the PS4.
