it's P2P playerhost, so the host can modify whatever he wants to his session, and I cannot imagine how crazy the hack will be.

blizzard may say they are not moderating the servers, but you still are going through their launcher. They will see everything you are doing and will forward any and all information to bungie. So just because they are not actively moderating the servers or using their own servers doesn't mean anything. I am sure the ban hammer will fall on allot of people if they choose to cheat.

1 AntwortenHalf the fun of Skyrim was the mods. Bring it! I love mods but will stay outbid PC crucible. That will be a saltmine with all the mods.
-
14 AntwortenHAA HAA HAA HAA! DIRTY CONSOLE GAMING PEASANTS! PEASANTS I BRING NEWS, JOIN ME IN PC GAMING AND ASCEND TO GOD HOOD FOR YOU ARE WEAK AND I AM MIGHTY!
-
It's on battle.net my guy. Good luck trying to cheat for an hour.
-
I guarantee it will run Warden in the background when the game is launched.

1 AntwortenAnd datamined to expose all the content behind pay walls
-
Ohhhh, yeah. You can see it coming a mile away. That's why I want nothing to do with multiplayer PC games like this.
-
Bearbeitet von Azur_Fenix: 5/21/2017 12:17:10 PMYup, sure will be. "We want Destiny to be competive". Sure you do Bungie, thats why you made it a pardise for hackers by making it P2P.
-
7 AntwortenOne word you scum........blizzard. Thats all you need to know. Blizzard dont put up with that shit, yeah yeah yeah Ive read that Blizzard is only doing this or that but Blizzard dont care theyll drop the blizzardhammer
-
3 AntwortenIts Blizzard they will get the perma-ban
-
Yes, yes it will

Dedicate servers don't give automatic protection. The Division had dedicated servers, but because of poorly designed networking code, the game had a HUGE cheating problem on PC when it was first launched.
-
7 AntwortenYep. Remember The Division? Look up how many pc hackers Ubisoft had to clear out in the first few months of it's release. Destiny has a bigger following. And considering how salty the average pvp player is and how often you saw DDOSing or lagswitching during some periods of Destiny, D2 on PC will be nightmarish.
-
10 AntwortenI honestly could not care less what happens on the PC version. Should never have been on PC in the first place.
-
2 Antworten
it's P2P playerhost, so the host can modify whatever he wants to his session, and I cannot imagine how crazy the hack will be.
It's on bnet
-
7 AntwortenNah that's why Blizzard partnership is really important for PC. They handle cheating very well
-
2 AntwortenNot with battlenet
-
5 Antworten
it's P2P playerhost, so the host can modify whatever he wants to his session, and I cannot imagine how crazy the hack will be.
False. Battle.net servers will have great anti cheat measures put in place. See StarCraft 2.
-
2 AntwortenConsidering the PC version will be using Blizzards client, yea I highly doubt cheating will ever be a problem. Good luck trying to hack a title using a Blizzard client framework. You'd be perma-banned instantly.
-
31 AntwortenBungie has always handled cheaters well with their mighty ban hammer
-
I get the feeling Bungie is trying to get crucible on the MLG/competitive scene, so in that regard I hope they've set up anti cheat measures on PC, as well as properly enforce them too.
-
6 AntwortenYou don't play games on PC, do you OP?
-
Bearbeitet von Skelos Badlands: 5/21/2017 5:46:09 AMThose who played Halo 3 back in the day knew that bungie took hacking very seriously and are not afraid to drop the ban hammer in an instant if they detect something. Bungie will take care of those hackers

13 AntwortenI am currently sat here contemplating going back to PC gaming after over a 12 year break on console after I saw Destiny was going to PC and the fact there are very few strategy games on console which is what I used to enjoy. I have been out the loop for some time know but some advice on Hardware would be good. Looking at spending around £1500 and so far like the look of a HP omen with the following spec:- Windows 10 Intel® Core™ i7-7700 Processor RAM: 16 GB / Storage: 2 TB HDD & 512 GB SSD Graphics: AMD Radeon RX-480 With built-in WiFi. I have done a little research but a heads up would be good.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von HollowedWayfarer: 5/21/2017 3:27:11 AMFull honestly, Destiny going to the PC is great news!
Its less cheating us console players need to worry about. Thank you Bungie!
I'm pretty sure they will have a good anti cheat and are well aware of cheating.
