Bungie you really out did yourselves. If Deej or Cozmo see this please give my love to the developers and everyone else that was amazing!
*Edit* just to let everyone know I understand your concerns the original had these nice trailers and stuff and we got a different game just a warning always be skeptical of games don't pre order without knowing full well what your buying etc.

Yeah ok. 4 new worlds. New maps. New strikes. New raids. An actual story. New weapons. New armour. New/upgraded Abilities. New PvP modes. New features. New side missions. As well as match making system to help solo players who have suffered for a long time, may not fully repair it but good attempt. (Credit to USW on YouTube)
*Edit 3* Consoles will have a locked 30fps where as PC will have a unlocked frame rate so grab your 1080TI's and i7 7700k's and enjoy a nice 4k 60fps depending if they optimise the port well also no dedicated servers so yeah......good luck with the modders on PC guys GTA V on PC is bad enough

4 AntwortenI feel it looks awesome so far! ONLY thing I didn't like was PvP being 4v4 only. I like 6v6. I felt it was the right balance of chaotic and enough room to breathe. I worry 4v4 will promote VERY small maps or create too much room to breathe. Otherwise, wow this game looks great! The clan/solo player matchmaking system looks REALLY good. That is something Destiny lacked. The ability to join high-end activities when your schedule permits. With 3 kids and a job, and going for a BA my time is not condusive to find raids. Now in Destiny 2 i will be able to do raids!! I am pumped! I'll miss my MIDA but i will find a new scout rifle!

I dunno man, I wasn't particularly impressed. Looks like its going to be just another franchise shooter rebooted every couple of years with DLC in between. Was hoping that now they've got the basics sorted with D1 they'd be trying to push the envelope more, but it certainly looks like they're just playing it safe and making a very similar game to the first.

15 AntwortenI agree with the OP. I have read a lot of other post mainly from PVP players whining about D2 already and it not even out yet. I have been hard on Bungie in the past but over all this looks like a fun game and I will buy it. My only hope is that D2 separates PVE from PVP because the effects of not separating them has been the biggest cause of complaints about this game. Can't wait to play all the new subclasses........that is until the PVP community whines about them and they get nerfed.

1 AntwortenLooks like a DLC reveal. I think bungie understands DLC to be Dumb Loyal Customers. What even is the traveller and what even is the darkness? Did we win against the darkness or did we just beat enemies that stepped up. I don't even remember this shit it is that poorly explained lol. Are any plots from the first destiny going to be explained in depth? Or are we just going to fight the same enemy we already have been but he has a different name now? Give us a story and a reason to 'save the universe' for -blam!-s sake. We saved the 'last city' and don't know a thing about it or who is down there lol.

1 AntwortenSeeing other characters in game play, like cayde and Ikora, Is really nice for story immersion imo. It's a subtle thing but I think it'll help the story.

5 AntwortenIt was meh. Just the same old recycled enemies,and a few new ones. Not going to get all hyped again and end up disappointed,I hope everyone else enjoyed it but the reveal really didn't impress me at all. One other thing that is going to keep me from getting this game, is the fact the devs don't even bother separating pve/pvp which really takes all the fun out of the game. It sucks that when a nerf happens in crucible pve players who enjoy using that said weapons always end up getting shafted.

I haven't been this upset since the sequel to PONG still had a ball bouncing between paddles!! I wasn't about to ride my bike across town to drop quarters in that thing! Until Saturday when school was out.

82 AntwortenI loved almost everything...but my biggest gripe is by far the new subclasses. No, this isn't a Hunter shouting NERF DAWNBLADE. This is a Hunter feeling shafted. Warlock: AVENGING ANGEL OF FIRE Titan: SPACE CAPTAIN AMERICA Hunter: "You get a mystical staff you can bonk people on the head with" - almost direct quote. Arcstrider is Bladedancer with a stick. It does not look any different nor any more ineresting. Yeah ground pound. Cool. Yeah. Not spear throwing. A stick I can bonk people on the head with. That's just insulting to have to be told.

Getting hyped over a reveal might be the silliest shit a person could do after destiny 1 And for the pvp...if it has the same connection mechanics as the last one the lag, atrocious hit detection, absurd matchmaking with people nowhere near you geographically(talking about those asshole connections in Brazil) will just lead to the same user experience And Bungie is just going to ignore you again for another release cycle.....

The questions are: How big are those new worlds? How well made is the raid? How unique are the live events? How challenging are the challenges? And far more interesting are these questions: Dedicated Servers? 60FPS? 60/60Hz Tickrate? PvP/PvE Separation in terms of changes? Same SBMM bullshit?

6 AntwortenFirst Destiny, with all its problems, was a new game. While it looked pretty much like Halo 4 (I personally bought it because it was sold as "from Halo makers", and it was just lying around for some time unopened while I played Gears and Halo), it had a revolutionary new gameplay. Last time I was so much addicted to the gameplay quality was the first Unreal. It was a pure quality if you ask me. Second part of the formula was its end-game content, namely "FPS raid". Third part was the progression system. There was something to look and aspire for: 30, 32, 34. And then it all went wrong. The Taken King came and basically wiped it all out. Everything. That's exactly the same time when everyone who still played Destiny just left the game, never to return. Now, explain me why this "new" Destiny 2 is better. It does exactly what first two expansion did: add several story missions and a raid (or its substitute). Worse yet, it does what TTK did: complete wipe. While I strongly agree that blank-wipe (TTK and D2's) was a necessity, I don't see anything that was hyped as 'new" in D2. In fact, a can see NOTHING NEW. How is it possible? Who made this game happen? Without new races? Without new gameplay mechanics? I want Zombie [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]. I want Moth people. I want Exo strangers for god's sake. Where is this all? One new raid? ONE NEW RAID? Is it some kind of joke? Running around and collecting stuff in "dungeons"? I have ESO already, thank you very much. Add friggn' raids. Add friggn' OP weapons. Add ridiculously strong abilities you gain from completing endgame challenges. THAT'S what a "new game" means.

That's weird. Nerds on the Destiny forum aren't happy with anything, that's unusual. I mean, they're not wrong either. It is just gonna be another expansion; the only new thing it has is an entirely new engine, an expanded platform for a new demographic, a story, new weapons / new layout for weapons, reworked pvp, larger maps with more to do, new worlds, new armors, new abilities and classes, a system in place to include solo players in the endgame, full in game clan support. 116 AntwortenPretty much Destiny 1.5 with features that were removed from the first game. It looks like an expansion and not a sequel. It will probably have less content than vanilla Destiny. 1 raid at launch... Again? Really? That was one of the major complaints about Destiny. Having no end game content. And here we are with them repeating that. Focusing on 4v4 for PvP? Awful decision. They'll have a season pass that will add content removed from the game for $40+ After the game starts dying they'll make an expansion like ROI and add three quests and a raid. They'll add "new" updates that just add a reskinned enemy and boss and slap a "NEW" sticker on it. They'll later add another subclass with an expansion. This is nothing revolutionary. They're just going to repeat Destiny 1.
