Suffice it to say that it's a much less enjoyable experience in Destiny's pvp, post the most recent patch.
We need more options than Icebreaker and sidearms.
-
it's their game

4 AntwortenWhat? Common Sense? In Destiny. Sir what you are asking for in beyond our time.

Just a little more...

41 AntwortenBearbeitet von GeT ThAt T4nG: 5/9/2017 5:05:07 AMI mean listen, honestly this is what we get for asking for nerfs over and over and over again. All started with snipers, bungie listens to the bottom 40% of players, nerfs snipers into the ground. So everyone uses shotguns. Bungie takes special away. Then abilities become dominant. For my sanity I've decided to stop playing trials. I could never stand getting stuck by grenades with more magnetism than truth. And now that it's become the dominant play style I just stick to sixes. If there is a lesson to be learned from PVP in destiny 1, it's that bungie has got to stop listening to trash cans. I can go into crucible right now and destroy a.5 kd player, and he will come to the forums and say whatever weapon I'm using is OP. Then the other BKs join and it's just a cascading effect of bs. Listen to your top 10%, they will tell you what's OP an what's not and BALANCE THE GaME AROUND WHAT THEY SAY.

6 AntwortenYou see all these streamers calling themselves "skilled" Skilled players don't play the meta, true skill comes from those who adapt to situations such as the meta, those who use fusion rifles are more skilled then some kid with icebreaker. You don't have skill if you always use overpowered weapons. This is my opinion and it made shesmynerd kick me from his stream because i kept calling him out lol.

1 AntwortenVery easy solution, take all special ammo out of pvp. Design sidearms to blow up into Crucibabies face when used. Icebreaker would shoot an icicle when used in Crucible.
-
How about unequipping those and using something else.
-
If bungie wanted us to use less special weapons they should've removed the ways to get around it. Disable icebreaker and invectives regen perks in pvp.
-
i do miss clever dragon and matador

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von StanleyHalas: 5/9/2017 7:53:58 PMAnyone dismissing this is either ignorant or just happy with a lack of variety. Ice breaker and side arms are clearly the best option in any game type. If you have special ammo 90% of the time and your opponent only 50-60% of the time you have an advantage. You have options they don't have. And the further this goes the more we will see a lack of weapon diversity. As more people realize they're at a disadvantage the more they'll adapt. If special was always an option there is variety. They turned this game from chess to checkers.

2 AntwortenCrucible sucks ever since the patch. On a good note...mayhem is da shit! Screw weapons! I got hammers and nades for days.
-
2 AntwortenMy answer to shotgun warriors was plan c. Doesn't really do shit against sidearms.
-
7 AntwortenI don't play Trials, so I definitely have options other than Icebreaker or Wormwood.
-
14 AntwortenCrucible now is the most balanced it's ever been if they just bring revert special ammo to it's previous state.
-
6 Antwortenhow about we focus on PvE for once? i mean it's not like every patch is dedicated to PvP now. /s
-
Buy we already have fusion nades.
-
8 AntwortenVery true, but you can't not nerf special ammo, because Shotgun Warriors would return
-
23 AntwortenTrials this week was terrible people camping with icebreakers and abilty spammers that run with wormwoods 24/7
-
4 AntwortenI just hate these fûcking stickies man. There's no way to counter them other than sitting in the back of the map with a mida. On maps like twilight gap, they are literal poison. Losing to teams that I absolutely shouldn't lose to.

Bearbeitet von HOMERUN HP 13: 5/9/2017 8:59:41 PMI agree a 100%. I think on death they take half of your special ammunition and a slight reduction to special ammunition boxes. In trials I think they should get rid of special ammunition boxes and give everyone half a mag for each round or a full mag for the game (excluding sidearms). I think this would solve most of the problems. What do y'all think?
-
Less hardscoping and Wormwoods, okay.
-
we. Red more options than icebreaker and sidearms
Amen. But you forgot palindrome, and sticky grenades
-
Or revert the special ammo patch. I would be ecstatic about just that.

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von bFLY: 5/9/2017 2:39:48 PMI just don't get it. I've been just fine with my Hopscotch and matador. When I don't have shotgun ammo, I either use my Hopscotch exclusively or I pick up some special. I've barely seen sidearms, and when I do I usually can out shoot them unless I get too close. Icebreaker is a garbage sniper, and not too difficult to out shoot someone who is using it. If you are landing your head shots consistently, this "meta" works just fine imo. It forces you to learn how to shoot a bit. No more button-mashing shotgun duels every encounter. These changes really weren't all that difficult to adapt to especially if you already mained primaries like I did.

Please donate all salt to Icarus as it will keep d1 alive when d2 comes out

It all went tits up when they nerfed the Vex
