I wanted to be a pyromancer in DS3. But no forbidden sun. So its no fun.

Well I've been planning on making a pyro build aswell. I've made a faith build, a quality build, and just finished a dex build. I have to run on NG+ real fast though, I messed up on stat allocation on my main. Since your a pyro kinda guy, how should you spread you points? 40/40 intelligence/faith?

Of course, these numbers change, dependant on the enemy (a Fireball is 331DMG against White Preachers), but I used a the red-eyed spear Lothric Knight by the Dragon Barraks bonfire, as to my knowledge he has no weakness, or resistance to Fire or Dark. Now, I know what you're thinking; "Aifos, why did you spend all this time doing this? Everyone knows Great Chaos Fire Orb and Chaos Bed Vestiges are the best pyromancies!". And yes, they are quite amazing, but I've played many caster builds, on every Dark Souls game. I've been a Sorcerer on DaSI I've been a Sorcerer, Pyromancer, and Heretic on DaSII And I've been a Sorcerer, and Pyromancer on DaSIII. I'm quite far as my Pyromancer. I'm at the Ringed City, with every boss in AoA, and the base game defeated. But the Ringed City has a lot of those Ringed Knights, and now, a problem I've had for quite some time on my Pyro is coming to the front. FP deficiency! For all the power my Pyromancer has, hi spells cost a [i]lot[/i] of FP! Everywhere I look says use Great Chaos Fire Orb/Chaos Bed Vestiges as my main spell, but that takes an entire FP gauge (30/30 FTH/INT, 40 ATN) to kill any tough enemy. The purpose of that chart I made above was to create an FP/DMG ratio chart.. But.. Egh.. Math. So I've turned to you, general populace of the Gaming subforum! Share your pyromancy builds! Im no pyro, but there are ways to trigger fp regeneration Oneway is to have aldrichs sapphire and go for back stabs, doing this with the handmaidens dagger will get you more, or you can use a simple infusion for more fp regeneration. I think it stacks with the ashen estus ring. Personally I do NOT use any of this except for a simple parrying dagger Mainly because Ashen Flasks.... But I run a dark sorceress, so my cost for sorceries never been an issue for me.

To add to this, there are certain pyromancies that come out quicker after certain other pyromancies. Not all true combos but useful in pvp. Edit Don't forget to exploit the dark pyromancies. In case the target is strong vs fire.

Hidden body+ backstab is how i got through it. They nerfed hidden body so unsure of how that impacts. Could always run past them thats for sure.

My Pryo Build My Characters Name is "Mr. Manson" Cuz Why not 30 ATT 40 INT/FAITH 10 STG 12 DEX Do whatever you want Most important Part \/ Dark Thrall Axe Black Flame Chaos Bed Vestiges Black Serpent Iron Flesh Pop Iron Flesh, use Weapon Art on Thrall Axe to compensate for over-encumbrance (Don't use Iron Flesh if You see any lightning) (Thrall Axe actually does really good damage with Dark R1/RT Spam) Use black Serpent, if people roll towards you, black Flame them. If people roll away use Chaos Bed Vestiges Estus Punish with the axe, don't bother using a pyromancy (It takes too long, it's better to roll into them and stagger lock them with Thrall axe) You'll thank me later. ~ Making America Great Again ~

My strategy: Use Carthus Flame arc, neglect everything else, then KILL.

I honestly have been looking to build a pyromancy or dark build, switching depending on my mood because of how both scale with int and faith! My biggest problem is that I have no idea what to do lol, I want to run onyx blade or demon scar for pyromancer, and crucifix of the mad King, or some other dex based dark weapon (suggestions welcome) and this is pretty cool because I don't know what I want to do lol... Currently my character is something like level 67 pyromancer with very basic spells (because -blam!- smoldering lake, I hate that place) I use uchigatana with a fire gem, and I'll probably carry that with me to late game, so if it's possible to do an SL 125 build that can focus on dex weapons (and onyx blade too because even though its strength it's so cool) while still holding a primary focus on faith/int equal spread, I'd love to hear what people think I could do with stats and weapons! I'm thinking 35/35 int 30 dex, however much strength onyx blade requires, and the rest of the stats built to fit around that, or should I focus my efforts elsewhere within my stats?
