I made the mistake of watching a Stephen Colbert video.
Jesus, his audience must have altars set up for him at home. He could say "Trump sucks" and the audience would cheer long enough to fill up the rest of the episode. It's also odd how their cheering suddenly cuts off every now and then...
Colbert himself has an ego to match, maybe even surpass Trump himself. He's the most smug, snide mother-blam!-er I've ever had the displeasure of viewing. If this is how so many democrats view Trump, I can understand now why they hate his guts.

In the few interviews I've seen him give, he's actually quite respectful to the interviewee even when he/she has different views. He'll say something smug but it's always got a hint of sarcasm. That's my impression of him, anyway.
