Petition to change the name of Crucible
I was thinking, as Destiny draws to a close we could rename Crucible to something more fitting. Something that reflects 3 years of development of the multiplayer sandbox. 3 years of hopes, dreams and talent development. 3 years that leads us to this meta we are in today.
My suggestion is "The Looking for Green Ammo Game"
Now I know it isn't catchy and I considered the following:
"The Die, pick up special, die, rinse repeat Game"
"The Forget you have a secondary because you never have any ammo for it and get killed Game"
"The get shot across the map by some dude using just a sidearm Game"
"The stand around counting down the final 8 seconds on a green ammo box Game"
"The Finally something more frustrating than lag Game"
I'd love to hear your suggestions and I think we can persuade Bungie to rename Crucible to something more real.

Funny thing, I was just thinking about this topic and came across your post. Toilet bowl - cause it's so full of $H!T. Can't believe some people rave about how balanced and rewarding it is. Hope D2 launches with a vast improvement over what this has been since day one.

4 AntwortenI disagree. Crucible is fun and the special ammo problem is hardly even a problem anymore. You obviously didn't play much of year one. Balanced as it's ever been dude. Seriously find something else to cry about. Like in a different game. Cru-ci-ble (noun) - "a situation of severe trial, or in which different elements interact, leading to the creation of something new." Crucible is a perfect definition of us as Guardians battling eachother and learning new skills, while the developers also battle the bitchy cry-fest of childish community members, who's ADHD keeps them from investing thought and time into performance based self-analysis, as the dev-team makes the game better through trial and error. We're all human. Just work harder at being happy and satisfied....

I'd call it... "The Magical Land of Lag/Latency (Where you're mind will be blown, by all of the crazy crap that happens, and you'll be left confounded at how a company in 2017, allows their product to be so, so subpar.)". That's a more fitting name for the crucible.
