To be a competitive rumble player is quite frustrating, but the join in progress in rumble is the most stupidest thing you guys (Bungie) haven't removed yet in this category unbelievable i know, it makes rumble way more unfair if you need to deal with 1500 points behind the enemies in the get go...... Soo i bow down and say:"please fix or remove join in progress in general"........ However if it keeps going I don't want it to call it competitive anymore, kappa..
This isn't about a overused gun or a sub class that is op, this topic is about making some people sorten the rage by removing join in progress especially in rumble, you gotta agree that join in progress in rumble is the most stupidest thing that is still going in destiny, it existed in vanilla destiny and still this issue isn't fixed yet this very day......
The down side is that queuing into a game is going to be a bit slower but we all like to play fair.
In the other hand is completely removing join in progress maybe in public but obviously in ranked playlists, soo i hope they're making a competitive ranked playlists with viewable rank tiers/brackets by inspecting the player in game! That would be great bungie ^_^.
A rushed Topic by a random Norwegian player.

I agree, it's so stupid. It's not like you're on a team or anything where join in progress is necessary. You're the only one getting screwed by joining late, and if people leave, that's their problem and their loss.
-
its a great feeling to make a 0 kill clutch against some 1500 guy and win
-
On the other hand there is nothing like being dropped into a rumble match all ready started and the challenge of coming top! Iv done it once it's shit! So yeah Bungie stop doing whatever the post is about!!!! Love rumble I do!
-
Yeah I wouldn't do away completely because of private matches and if a friend has an open slot. But in rumble yeah totally do away with it. And it's awesome feeling when you are 1700 down and come back and win😎

2 AntwortenJust remove rumble in general.

6 AntwortenI don't want to sound sweaty but.... if you join in progress and lose does it count as losing ELO?

It's better than joining a blood fart in progress

Don't really run rumble, so never thought about this. But, yeah, that one mode it does seem unfair. . But I think the odds of being put into (any mode) match, should be related to your recent history of quitting games. If you ditch a lot of games on a regular basis, you should have a giant target on your back for matchmaking to fill you into in progress matches. If you quit those, you should only ever get in progress matches... until your "quit index" gets back to close to zero. The occasional to rare quitter (everybody spills a beer on their controller or has their dog catch on fire occasionally) would be given priority for fresh matches, only dropped in in-progress if matchmaking takes a bit longer. *NOTE: Don't know if there are enough players left to make this practical in D1, but definitely D2

I agree with what you're trying to say. I just cringe at how you are saying it. Stay in school.

It needs to be removed from all crucible, you shouldn't get thrown into a match in progress and if more than one person leaves a match it should kick everyone back to orbit and not count against them.

I think that Bungie learned alot from our 2.5 years of this game and is making big changes in destiny 2 to fix these issues we have had in this game. Honestly would you at this point rather have them spend time and resources to change game modes in this game or dedicate those resources to giving us a better experience in the new game. The only people I'd bet want that are the ones who will keep playing Destiny 1 while the other 99% of the playerbase moves on to the next game.

2 AntwortenIt should just be removed from all modes. I'm sure I'm in the majority saying that I don't mind waiting for the queue to fill up for a fresh game.

1 Antworten
(it has been 3-4years -_-),
It's been 2.5 years wtf? also I completely agree.

Hence why I gave up a long time ago. Although, it was fun trying to come back. Just not worth the effort

Join in progress makes it fun because you have to see if you can catch up and win. And when you do win in a late game, it is very fulfilling.
