Where are the Hunters at?
I've noticed a big decrease in hunters in PvP since the last round of nerfs. I see more titans (Hammer titans) than anything and i can see why.
With bladedance receiving its last round of nerfs that took away all the last of its glory even though they were more easily countered then most other supers.
Yes bladedance when used right is a great super but it has more disadvantages then anything now. But never at any pointcould bladedance survive a headshot. Even with health regen it was never that good.
Now. Before i make this next point i want to make a point that i [u][b]DON'T [/b][/u] want a nerf to hammer titans. but.. why was bladedance or hunter classes abilites such a issue that they were nerfed so hard?
Stormtrance can chain multiple people effortlessly and take out a unlicky chump just by dropping a super on top of him then chain the rest of his team afterwards and all of that can be done from a good distance.
Hammer if Sol also has a great ranged super that also has regen perks and added shield abilities that make them able to tank a headshot.
so why with all these awesome abilites on i other classes were hunters nerfed to almost non existence?
I must add i havent played much on ither classes lately so my points might not be 100% accurate but its just things i noticed lately.
I still play very well with my hunter but i cant help but notice they see to be a dying class at this point.

It's all about the best pvp build. Hunters have less recovery so they are at a disadvantage. As well as Titan skating becoming more popular speed is now dominate. That's why titans are more than ever the best class. Shut down super and speed, recovery as well as max armor.. what more can you ask for?

8 AntwortenThey are in the crucible, winning games and taking names. Meanwhile you, my sir, are here on the forums complaining about the lack of hunters. They are in fact one of the most used classes in PvP statistically, and have the highest average K/D in the crucible. If that isn't a sign that hunters are alive and well, then I don't know what is.

8 AntwortenSeriously? Nightstalkers are EVERYWHERE sucking the fun out of the game for everyone else. By throwing one smoke Nightstalkers can... - Slow enemy down - Damage enemy - Deal damage over time - See a big "X" indicating enemy location - Gain extremely detailed radar - Remove enemy's entire HUD - Potentially kill enemy Ridiculous. Happy for you that you aren't surrounded by these shade stepping -blam!-s bc I personally can't get a game without multiple ones being on the other team. I constantly have to switch classes mid game bc roaming supers are worthless when 2+ nightstalkers are on the opposing team. (Lol...and BLADEDANCERS were the hunters who received nerfs?!?! Smfh)

I see stormcallers and striker titans the most might change it up and play on my Titan or warlock

4 AntwortenI moved to the Warlock, and now I am thinking going full Titan as my primary. Hunter use to be my class for both Year 1 and Year 2, but given that Bungie has beaten that class like a redheaded step child for the better part of 3 years now I find the class to be weak as hell compared to the other two. [i]I remember the beta when bladedancer was awesome, and then people complained so it got nerfed in the first two weeks after release. I remember people complaining about Golden Gun in the beta, so it lost any additional armor during it's super. I remember people complaining about the wombo combo, so Bungie had to nerf that. Blink is annoying? Better nerf it now that most people run stormtrancing warlocks, because you can't do anything drastic to Bungie's preferred class... Whoa, gunslingers have been sticking people with the tripmine for over two years?! Better fix that error...and nerf those trips... Hey, even though Bungie already nerfed arc blade, they should totally do it again...twice...just because... Hey, did that hunter just evade damage with his shadestep?! Well, we can't have none of that - evade moves are not suppose to be for actually evading stuff! Here is an exotic for making the worst grenade (skip) in the game somewhat relevant. Oh no! Now people can get kills with the skip grenade! That is not what is suppose to happen! NERF![/i] Titans got a nerf on hammers because people exploited the f*ck out of them. Stormcallers rocked the crucible with their supers for a solid year before Bungie decided it was time for a nerf. And Sunsingers had an edge with grenades for over 2 years before that was addressed. A guy makes a video complaining about an arc blade super killing him in a bubble, and Bungie issues a statement claiming their are looking into it. Hunters = Bungie's Red Headed Step Children

Meanwhile, a titan can have his weapon reloader gauntlets at all times and also have passive armor, and more acess to orbs and shi. also bladedancer just got huge nerfs to their survivability, and often their mobilty is agressive, and within a camp heavy meta, thats not good Nightstalker is all you see these days, simply because in a defensive/ meta, the one defensive class is still good in its own right. Yeah, I think I'm the only person that can say that I deleted my titan for another hunter. It was honestly the biggest cruch ever. I barely ever see a hunter in the crucible now a days and it makes sense. Titans have the biggest cruch and if you can't use em, warlocks are a good place to start. Why else do you think trials streamers are titans or warlocks.[spoiler]if you're a triggered trials streamer who gets like 1 view a day and uses a hunter just go suck it up. There's a reason. No one trusts that you'll make it [/spoiler]

I was a solid 2 year long hunter main, then they nerfed trip mines and I said -blam!- it and been maining a warlock ever since, and I haven't looked back, hunters are absolute trash now, such a shame.

I dont see a decrease in hunters , i see a general increse of the Gunslinger subclass.

I was a having a blast with Gunslinger in the Iron Banner. Haven't tried Bladedancer since the patch. Will give it a go soon.
