I call it doing what the community has been begging for since Year 2 started.

4 AntwortenAgreed, and personally I like the idea of having all destiny 1 content being relevant in the end. At least then when destiny 2 launches and the slate is wiped clean I can know that I got to play everything destiny 1 had to offer before going on my next adventure. Also, new players (I say new as in year 2 and year 3) who never got to enjoy vault of glass at it's prime will have that opportunity now; I really want this community to look back on destiny 1 and be happy for the highs and lows, the friendships, and the laughs we had at bungie's expense. If wiping my progress from destiny 1 is what it takes for destiny 2 to be a whole new experience then i'm all in, I want to feel like I did in the destiny alpha where everything was mysterious and everyone was having fun.

Yeah they wanted it ages ago. Not as a lifeline to extend the game and for Bungie to milk the revenue generating stream for all it's worth. Lazy. Recycled. Regurgitated. Reskinned.
-
Half the game isn't even playable until now/soon to be aside from nostalgia reasoning. I'm happy they're bringing old stuff up to date. It's been highly demanded for since light started going up far beyond year 1 content.
-
It's the only game that takes away things then makes you earn them back. And the recycled content is crazy. I am in love with the game and the potential is incredible and i will continue to play but let's be honest....running missions backwards through maps? Reskinned enemies and guns? Artificial difficulty? Same strike but let's take away the cover! Same strike but lets add MORE ADS with shields. Come on man its never been more obvious that the special events and pay stuff has caused some laziness over at Bungie.
-
It's not lazy. Sure I would prefer new content but this is what needs to happen and everyone knows it. Having the old raids brought back is great everyone complaining should stfu honestly
-
1 AntwortenIt is lazy. . .raids should have been updated with every DLC. . .this game is going to be dead in 6 months. They were too late.

my only issue is now we are going to be on this grind getting the same stuff again but can't bring it to destiny 2. I don't mind not having the guns and armor brought over but if I paid for something it should be brought over but then its like stuff I bought in Mass effect 1 didn't Carry over to mass effect 2. Its a sticky situation
-
2 AntwortenI call it a year or two late. If your teacher asks for an assignment and you turn it in two years later, he/she isn't going to give you full credit for work that could have been done in a much shorter amount of time
-
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS!!!
-
1 AntwortenAgree. Bungie should have done this ages ago. The issue is they are not listening to the community. All they care about is the cash cow that is Destiny 2. I've had too many disappointments with this game especially all the nerfing that went on. Time to look for something else to play.
-
The biggest thing to me is are elemental primaries making a return? If they arent then the weapons won't be used outside of the raid, because due to the current balance they will suck. Not to mention pointless, as there are better options. Although this will eliminate Imago loop farming for that Fatebringer roll.
-
2 AntwortenI have a feeling that the raids aren't being brought up to current light level. We r just gonna have to complete certain things within VOG/Crota then receive y3 versions of the old gear and weapons from the book similar to how we got the days of iron armour
-
We all know that we should have had destiny 2 by now. This wasn't even supposed to last as long as it did.
-
People wanted the light level changes every dlc not to buy recycled content
-
With Mass Effect Andromeda coming out, I was sure I wasn't gonna play anything else, especially Destiny. But with the news of the old raids being revamped, I'm not so sure anymore. Kings Fall can suck it, but Crota's End and Vault of Glass... yeah, I'll be coming back to Destiny after all.

Would have been easier to allow all weps/ gear to be infused, remove ALL nerfs to ALL, take away the kinderguardians disabling of kiddie crucible, put ALL strikes back in rotation, all maps in pvp, and head over to the D2 camp and get them guys coffee and shiat, cause the team on D1 sux BDD!!!! #returnD1fun

Once you get to 30, hangovers become reallll.

5 AntwortenI call it pitiful, if they would have done it much sooner than I'd be giving em praise. But since they're doing it now right as the end of D1 is coming I don't see what's the point in even trying to get gear an weapons for them only to be irrelevant again. But if you like the taste of bugnos D then by all means suck away pleb.

I think it's fine..I don't really PvE anyway
