After reading today's post by bungie I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the news. Most not all guardians don't really care what their characters look like at this point but most if not all would have loved to see their favorite and/or exclusive emblems and shaders get carried over. This news today made me feel that after 2+ years of grinding was for nothing. Love the game just wish they would revisit that idea down the road.

Emblems would be good.

I would like to have my cosmetics, shaders and emblems, come forward. But I don't really care that much. I would like to see, however, a continued grimoire score. Just because I like big numbers.

All I want is my shaders

Don't worry, they will carry over their shitty pvp setup instead

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Wolfy: 3/3/2017 9:42:06 PMThe news today was like the icing on the cake when it comes to not respecting player time. Its been a long 3 year grind fest, all to just toss it all away (except for the one feature we've been asking to recustomize lmao) and ask for us to do it all over again. I get the idea behind it, but I think all sparrows, ships, emblems, emotes, and shaders should come forward. Theres no excuse not to. If it can recognize player race/customization, it can easily check for what we have unlocked in our kiosks. That is, unless Destiny 2 is completely overhauled and shaders dont exist in favor for a new color function, sparrows are reimagined, ships are a whole new thing, and so forth. I can at least see that being true for weapons and armor, so again, can understand those not coming forward.

All the shaders and emblems do not need to carry over theres no point if your gonna use the new shit and why not

I would have like to keep my ships as well.

2 Antworten"We know that, just like us, you have grown fond of the Guardians you’ve created, so we do plan to preserve your character personalization. We are going to recognize the dedication and passion you’ve shown for this world. Specifically, the class, race, gender, face, hair, and marking selections for all characters that have achieved Level 20 and completed the Black Garden story mission will carry forward. We also plan to award those veteran accounts with honors that reflect your Destiny 1 accomplishments. " My GUARDIAN is, for example, the Male Human Hunter. I will be carrying my GUARDIAN forward. The rest, the weapons, armor, emblems, shaders etc is NOT my GUARDIAN. I am more than happy with the decision. Have a nice day buddy.

Take a picture, it'll last longer lol.

Emblems & shaders should carry over. If they really wanted to give D1 players a reward for playing then this should be it.

I'm not attached to anything to be honest. New game, new everything and I love how I made my guardians so I don't care that we can't change their appearances. For others this is going to be super disappointing I know it. And for them I'm sorry guys!😢

In one variation or another we will get them..

1 AntwortenI would like to see emblems carry over for sure

Let's all take a deep breath and calm down. It's not like they're getting deleted, they just aren't coming forward. If you want to see your flawless emblem then it will still be here on good old Destiny 1. So long as Destiny is fun, I'm fine with my emblems not carrying over.

While I'll go foward no matter what, they did kind of keep the one thing I hated. My guardian's physical appearance. I've grown more fond of my gear I've collected than my guardian itself, but whatever. I know I am not the only one who wishes they could change their guardian's appearance with out restarting their character. Now we have to deal with hastily made decisions from destiny 1 in 2? Ughh

All i want to be transferred is nepal emblem and shader, y1 flawless emblem, fermi solution and timekreper sparrow.
-
Honestly, if I can keep my Grimoire Score and continue building on it I couldn't care less about shaders and emblems that I hardly change. Also keeping my Characters that I've had since year 1 is a good thing if I can continue to clock time spent playing each one in each aspect of the game
-
Same hear, my year 1 flawless emblem will be obselete in a few months... that really sucks...
-
18 AntwortenAt least shaders or emblems. I worked so hard for this wrath hard mode shader.
-
2 AntwortenBut what if they replace emblems with something cooler? What if shaders get a better evolution? I say change is good. If I pay for a new game, I want new features. And if it's a sequel, I still expect change alongside improvements. Honestly, if I had to remake my character, I might not be that upset if they have us a improved character creator. Remember how everyone hated the character creator at Destiny's launch? I still do, and I want that to get better, a lot better! I want new things with a sense of familiarity.

The appearance of your guardian??? That f.u.c.k??!! They don't listen to shit we want. That's the one thing I know soo many ppl would like the ability to change you idiots! Yet y'all think it's a good idea for it to be the only thing that carries over -_- News flash Bungie buttholes, the only thing that makes a difference in the way a guardians looks is the armor sets! Why not let us carry forward one set of our choosing with shader. I didn't even mention how grossly in depth your "create a guardian" was to begin with -_-. You act as if you gave us tons of unique options that we spent hours over adjusting to get that special stand out look... The opening scene of Ghost finding your dead body for the first time literally takes longer then picking your guardian's race, gender, hair, skin, eye color. It's a slap in the face that you guys believe carrying over those lame ass guardian traits would be exciting for any of us...
Forgot you get to pick your face marking!! Absolutely lame guys
