Here's the video NVIDIA released, and they have a countdown on their official website (NVIDIA.com). The GTX 1080ti might be the first commercial 4K card. We'll have to see. In the mean time, Ryzen releases very soon!

More specifically what AMD GPU is better than the 1050 TI but the same price or cheaper. Don't say RX 480, it is pricier in my country.

26 AntwortenHey, I heard Ryzen smashed Intel on multicore performance. It's still garbage for emulation and 90% of software since most code only utilizes 1 to 4 cores, right?

2 Antwortentbh, with Nvidia's ridiculous pricing and naming scheme, i'd rather see some sort of Vega-based 490X equivalent card from AMD at their GDC event because it will offer the near the same performance (within very small margins) at a cheaper price.
-
1 AntwortenI'm hyped. The only thing I'm worried about is the price....
-
1 AntwortenThe 1080ti might be a tough sell if AMD's Vega graphics cards are successful.

15 Antworten"Serious PC Gamer" should have its own diagnosis in the DSM. I understand being passionate about something, but you people that buy the +600$ GPU every time a new one drops, even though you're totally full of shit when you say you see a difference from one to the other. Is there a difference between a custom rig and something off the floor? Sure, but the difference between this year's Nvidia and last year's Nvidia is indiscernible. I can just see rooms full of boards and cards that are better than 99% of people's systems just sitting in piles right next to the old hotpocket sleeves and the poop bucket....

12 Antworten4K, 60fps, and VR will now be achievable all at the same time. That thing will be a beast.

12 AntwortenYeah, i probably won't get it
I can't afford it

I might consider a 1070 or rx 480 though
