This update made this game similar to how Halo was set up. In Halo you hardly ever got a sniper/shotgun/rockets and when those weapons were available there were only one or sometimes two in the map. If you died you lost that weapon.
Same thing with Destiny now except you get to choose what weapon you want to use also special spawns often. I'm guessing most of the kids salty are the kids that rushed with Shotgun the whole game.
Adapt.

4 AntwortenPLEASE STOP COMPARING HALO TO DESTINY THEY ARE WAYYYYYY DIFFERENT
-
Team Swat for life. 😭

3 AntwortenI'm hella salty. But I rushed with a fusion! Not a filthy shotgun 😂
-
I often feel overpowered using fusion rifles, always maintaining at least 1.3 k/d. I'm glad no changes have been made in relation to the way I play! Other than more special ammo and auto rifle users, seems the same to me
-
18 AntwortenExcept in this game very few people start a match with the same weapons. If you run a slow shooting scout you would need a fusion to deal with rushers, and so on... That said, I am consistently having difficulty outgunning a side arm with an auto rifle at "close" range, and loosing with a hand cannon to the same side arm at medium to close range. A side arm should never be able to out damage an auto rifle or hand cannon. The issue is how under powered the vast majority of primary weapons are. People are not running side arms because they are great all of a sudden. It is because primary weapons mostly still suck. It is the core problem and nothing else really matters until that is changed.

6 AntwortenI hate when people compare this shitty game to other great games
-
2 AntwortenI just don't care for the slower pace now

3 Antwortenexcept destiny isn't halo, and has been what it is for 2+ years. this meta is awful, and i'm worried that if i ever wanna come back and play destiny after the sequel comes out i'll have to deal with this shît.

2 Antworteni think it would be wise to reset crucible to launch status, but fix the incredibly broken things.

2 Antwortenthing is bungie wasn't with activison when halo was made microsoft and bungie made halo great while activison need i say anything about them

Hahaha bump

3 AntwortenI play destiny, not halo.
-
We all know how halo is played and that sucks, it's very boring. Destiny has a great feel and weapon diversity. If they are trying to make it like halo it's going to be the death of it. Barely anyone streams that game and when it does get streamed it's for mlg
-
3 AntwortenThe funny thing about this is...all these nerfs were asked for. You'll deny it, but all the forums have been since the meta settled was "nerf Clever Dragon. Nerf shotguns. There's too much special ammo. Nerf the Stormcaller melee." So in regards to specials-they nerfed shotguns, nerfed special ammo, and now everyone is bitching that they did that. Riiiiight. I'll admit they should've addressed the 800 pound gorilla of sidearms, since, let's face it, they have more ammo and they're the last special left not hit with the nerf bat. But damn, people, when you asked for shotgun nerfs and complained for months that there was too much special ammo-and even some calling for losing your special when you died-don't complain when you get what you asked for. I mean, I'm a low KD scrublord so my opinion in all things apparently doesn't matter, but -blam!-'s sake, the people who asked for these nerfs are on these forums. Don't be shocked that Bungie did what you asked.
-
You miss one key distinction from the halo games: While the differences between games may of been quite large at times, there were not any major changes within each game that affected gameplay as much as bungie has tinkered with destiny.
-
1 AntwortenI tend to agree. Fighting over special crates is the same as fighting over power weapon spawns in Halo. Destiny PvPers forgot how good we've had it in this game, being able to spawn with shotguns and sniper rifles. That is bound to blow up in our/their faces from a balancing standpoint.
-
3 AntwortenBearbeitet von FL0W: 2/19/2017 5:05:23 PMI agree. Special weapons should've always been for special situations, not for replacing the primary weapon. Those spoiled brats that always want the easymode by using cheap OHK weapons all the time are making me sick. They're cancer to this game.

Um, OP, GUESS WHAT? This is NOT HALO...... so no comparison.... Move on, nothing to see here......
-
2 AntwortenBut. I'm not playing halo?
-
This isn't Halo.
-
Ok cool, but this is destiny yeah?
-
That's cool, but nobody is complaining about Halo bruh.

6 AntwortenOr go play halo? You adapt.
