So, Bungie nerfed Thunderstrike
Alright, it's range was a little ridiculous, that's understandable
But now what does the basic Thunderstrike do different from a standard melee now?
They took the only thing that made Thunderstrike different away: the range.
Now what does it do?
It does as much damage as a standard melee but just looks cooler?
Is that it?
If so, this "adjustment" was poorly thought out.
So, unless I read everything wrong, they need to rework this "adjustment".
Let me know down below on your opinions on this and what they could've done instead

I'll also say this again: the range did need an adjustment, I agree with that, this post is just pointing out the flaws in the rebalancing mind of Bungie
2 AntwortenIt uses 2 hands? Don't feel bad Hunter's Blink strike got crapped on for the same reason. It's range is pathetic now. Honestly amplitude should of gotten the nerf alone. Instead of increasing it's range it should of reduced it's cooldown like fast twitch or stoke the forge. This would of pair ed well with Transcendence and the other skill that recharges your grenade or melee when you get a kill with the opposite. I seriously don't know what the hell they be thinking.

7 AntwortenThey always take away from the warlocks. From what I see people who play on warlocks are by far the most skilled

1 Antwortenreduced range and made the lightning chain perk intrinsic or give it a little aoe when used. either would be fine but then at least it would be useful when charged in pve.

15 AntwortenBecause they still have the perk for extra range.

6 AntwortenGood it was about time the nerf that thing learn to kill with out spaming your melee warlocks ;)

This is what bungie does they don't look at what is causing the issue, in this case being amplitude, they just kill the skill. There's a reason the crucible was plagued by jug shotties. Shoulder charge paired with the sprint artifact was too good so instead of needing the artifact they killed shoulder charge. Thunder strike was not the problem bungie nerf the perk amplitude. Another great example of them killing off things is all hand cannons after thorn and autos after suros

According to the patch notes it will increase its range just not as much? At Least that's what i got out of it
