Instead of everyone running around with shotguns, now it's all sidearms.
Now I never was a fan of shotguns and I might be missing the point.... But wasn't diversity the original idea?

3 AntwortenNever understood people being so mad about shotguns. They didn't annoy me anywhere near as much as people hardscoping doorways or worse, camping in the back of the map. Snipers were way worse.

2 Antwortenlooking at gaurdian gg. sidearms are getting 1/2 to 1/3 of the useage that shotguns were before the patch. so.....

3 AntwortenWho cares? Its not a one tap and you actually have time to react and out play them. You just gotta find a way to counter them that works for you.

1 AntwortenThere was way, WAY more diversity regarding special weapons before the patch. Bungie clearly doesn't know what they are doing. I seriously hope the beat employees and devs are working on destiny 2 so that won't be a disappointment as is destiny right now. I played this game well over 2000 hours but it honestly just keeps getting worse while bungie themselves thinks they're making it better.

bungie would have had to do crazy buffs to shotties and snipers and fusions in order to justify this patch. now theres no reason to use any of those weapons, sidearm is the obvious choice

No the special nerf was to curb the shotty crutch, which has worked. The amount of special weapons I saw last night was very diverse. Shotty, sidearms, fusions, snipers and all sorts of primaries were being used, it was fresh.

Been using wormwood for quite awhile now There's still shotguns about just not so many Rushing now has to be thought through before spamming

Sidearm Warrior here and even I think they need to go back and look at the ammo issue. At least have them lose what ever ammo you pick up and just spawn back with the normal amount. However I ran some supremacy last night and expected to see nothing but side arms. Not really and when I did run into one you could tell they just picked them up so I was able to outgun them most of the time.

3 AntwortenAnd you don't even lose sidearm ammo off respawn. That completely destroys the point of the entire patch. You should spawn with a magazine or 2. Not hold on to all the ammo you've collected.

2 AntwortenYet it's not always the same sidearm is it that's what I mainly had a problem with seeing the same 2 guns kill me over and over drives me nuts. Now I'm dying to all sorts of guns so far I've enjoyed this update. However I've yet played my hunter on blade dancer I hope it's not as bad as I've feared at least there won't be shotgun melee to meet my blade.
