I just wanna say how great my experience with players in this community has been on PS4. 90% of the time people I fight against are such good sports even if I sweep them or pull the occasional dirty move like pushing them off a cliff.
Many times in duels I'll find people who are cool and we'll even do an emote to each other as like a handshake before the fight starts. And people usually end a fight with a "good fight" chat line.
Even in Brawls many people fight "honorably" and don't gangbang the one player left when the other one was killed.
Most people don't try to troll constantly either by always only trying to throw you off a cliff or into geysers etc instead of actually fighting, which I expected a lot of. Which makes me feel even worse sometimes when every once in a while I can't help myself lol.
So good on you PS4 For Honor players (don't know how it is on other platforms)! I hope this continues in the future when the full game releases

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Stormtroupe: 2/16/2017 3:05:26 PMI try to fight fair most of the time. If a teammate of mine is in a fight, I'll stand aside until it's over. Firstly because it's infuriating to have three people gang**** you and secondly because you'll usually end up hitting your teammate. BTW, what is everyone's preferred character? I don't see a lot of warlords but I love him. Perfect balance of defence and offence for me.

10 AntwortenHonor in combat isn't just winning by killing your opponent on your weapon. It's killing them period. If I'm in a 2v2, I'll be damned if I'm not gonna use whatever I have at my disposal to win. If that means 2v1 then so be it. And I'll do my level best to win should I be the one. I won't be an out right dick but the goal is to win.

4 AntwortenWhat are dishonorable kills according to the game? I got an achievement for only honorable Jill's.

3 AntwortenSo... many... orichi's

1 AntwortenI've been pushed off cliffs in 1v1s, shoved into those damn geisers, and gangbanged in other game types. But when you come across those players who show respect and honor, I don't even mind losing to them. It's very enjoyable.

15 AntwortenBearbeitet von Psyntifik: 2/14/2017 8:54:32 PMSound like a bunch of pansies, to be honest. You should be there to win. F*ck your courtesies!

9 AntwortenOrochi and Nobushi are the worst. Orochi has that retarded dash attack that you have almost no time to react to. Nobishi can attack way too far away, has poison/bleeding damage, and attacks super fast.

Give it time.

Same goes for Xbox players, at least the ones on Australian servers. Then again we usually have a better temperament in games

1 AntwortenPlay dirty, get fvcked hard Play with honor, get fvcked in a nicer way.

1 AntwortenI stay out of other people's fights unless the other team has already displayed tendencies to gang up in which case all bets are off but in the end I find duels to be the most satisfying combat because it does come down to your own ability to counter and fight properly rather than running around as a pack surrounding an enemy and killing them instantly which a lot of dominion matches have ended up like, I find those kind of games really irritating and a cheap way to win. It's good to see some people taking the honourable path and staying out of fights during brawls, I hope this becomes the norm.

Bearbeitet von XxMcMelon87xX: 2/14/2017 10:53:46 PMI only played the open beta. Not really gonna buy the game but it was fun playing as warden.

3 AntwortenStaying honorable in duels and brawls is just a way of having good sportsmanship. After all, you don't do 2v1 in fighting games anyways
-
4 AntwortenYea, im on ps4 too. The community is great! Except for samurai, -blam!- those guys.
DEUS VULT
-
4 AntwortenYep! I've only encountered a couple of Brawl teams that decide to ignore one of the words in the game's title (Honor) and gang up on me after my teammate inevitably fails to do anything but twiddle their thumbs.

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von ValusDanijel: 2/13/2017 5:35:00 AMI would like to buy for honor but I feel like its a game you'll play for a week or two and get bored off. I only buy games who I know ill put time into like overwatch. Even though its only pvp i play it everyday for hours.
also 60$ for an only pvp game? Yea no thanks lol
Alright I'm all for having honour in duels, though there are quite a few thing I don't find dishonourable. If you stand near a ledge, there's a chance I might throw you off. That's your fault. Same with spike walls and fire. I don't het pissed when this happens to me so people can't call me a hypocrite. Really, if you go into quick play expecting ONLY honourable fights, then you've messed up. It's a game, and though I'm part of the group that plays for fun, many people play to win.

3 AntwortenLove when people try to 2v1 me and end up losing anyway, lost track of how many times that happened during the closed beta

1 AntwortenGood to know everyone in that game isn't a major jerk... yet.
We all know that this will eventually happen in every game. Lets just hope it doesn't happen until much later on.
1 AntwortenOut of the samurais, would you say Kensei is the most balanced? That's what I main.

Surprisingly, we all act like what eeachother in-game and on the forums but when actually playing the game we don't care too much, and it gets really chill. But, still, Knights won. Too bad Neckbeards and Weebs.
DEUS VULT
I stay honorable. I don't gang up on people. But it was a 50/50 if they were douchebags or not

9 AntwortenStun, stab, run. Stun, stab, run. SO FUN
