So in other words, they didn't keep their end of the promise and there are still more nerfs than buffs...and hooray on Blink getting nerfed again even though it's probably the least used movement option on the skill tree...Bravo Bungie!

Bearbeitet von TheGodOfShadowz: 2/9/2017 11:44:16 AMSo the guys from Sandbox are clearly nominated for the Nobel prize or if not please nominate that guy with the slow firing TLW at Oscars. After last night twitch I,m not surprised why the big tech companies opposing the Trump immigration ban. You guys are dumb as hell. Why nerfing ALL shotguns? The rest are garbage anyway Trials will be: Round 1 won= + 4 more rounds won by specials while the other team is camping for supers Bladedancer nerf because he couldn't shoot him down in one occasion? What an idiot This nerf package is the same when they did last time with mida and tripmine Clearly a lot of people will move on

1 Antworten"Shotguns will have a much harder time getting kills while in the air" *proceeds to jump in the air and kill 4 guardians but on the last one aim to the left of him and doesn't get kill* see that? Much harder

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Lizard King: 2/9/2017 10:04:48 AMWhen taken king is released i created a thread and asked Bungie to fir John Viesneski and today i am still in favour of that as the crucible team that is managed by John clearly has no idea about the game they have in their hand. There are so many things that are done extremely wrong in this patch. I main a hunter and i am average player who plays PVP for fun. Lets start with Subclass changes Sunsinger class needed major buff's : Not Done Sunbreaker could receive some buff to their super and grenades other then fusion Lightning grenade effect should be more visible , received no change Gunslinger previous nerfs to Tripmine and Throwing knife's are not reversed Bladedancer is once again nerfed ( All though it was the easiest super to shot down ) Juggernaut will still continue to tank supers No changes are made to reduce crazy accuracy on sticky grenades And now move to Weapon changes Low impact shotguns - snipers are completely gone through PVP area with ammo changes Auto Rifles are still gping to be way weaker compared to hand cannons and slow firing Pulse rifle's No changes are done to correct No Land Beyond glitches which will make it go to weapon for Majority of Trials players Fusions could receive a bit accuracy buff while having more range fall out ( not done ) Last word will be even harder to use and have more ghost bullets with additional 5 meter range drop off on hand cannons We basically asked Bungie to buff other primaries to compete with Clever Dradon yet they nerfed Clever Dragon so TTK will be reduced all around. We still have weak primaries which will make it harder to kill opponents 1 on 1 with fast movement ability on every class. And the gun play they display within the Twitch stream made me feel i am a good player :D They were terrible , wish i had opponents like them on every game :D

Playing my nightstalker more and leaving the jug/shotty behind felt good. Simply put, I favor the neutral game of the NS. Now that shotties and jug got a blanket nerf, I can't complain of those changes. -I was religious of the set-up and ill miss flanking that one sleeping guardian. Casuals had a hard time dealing with it, savvy players could read and counter. SBMM revealed this during my progression. I'm just a minority outlook on this....or am I? Now, it will be voop nation more than ever these days! Currently I'm in the lab working on new-to-me tech. They didn't mention patching in air accuracy with fusions btw... just make sure your bolts are on point O_o Stormies will be a stronger class than ever, even with their melee getting nerfed, the shotty follow up might be more forgiving than before. Buckshot graze with a thunder strike follow-up might seem as if there were no nerf at all.....maybe. Super cringe at bungie ignoring skorri. Sodium levels are high. It's been all over reddit. I know how you guys love you some reddit lol................ Lastly, CD/HCR was my favorite pulse to ever grace my load-out. That feeling of landing a cripsy three-burst will be missed and the gun just looks -blam!-ing sexy doing so. IMO there wasn't a need in nerfing the RoF, the HCR nerf alone would have been fine by itself. Competent HC users were the most difficult opponents for mah CD. LiTC, rangefinder, and rifled HC's do massive amounts of work. If they knew how to use cover, then it was a dance-off for the finish. CD, I'll miss you babe, you helped me reach gold. Here's to my six other CD's without HCR hoping for a competitive shot.....maybe, maybe not. For real lastly, Bungie, please get some competent players running the demo next time. At least people that play PvP :/

TLDR: the Plumbers are loose in the Electronics again, and, they fixed your Weapons, again!!!

Well i'm sure my opinion will be thrown out immediately since I haven't touched destiny since SRL. and my stats are probably not the best. I have played a significant amount of each class. But I've played hunter the most. i'll comment on all of what is listed here. But TLDR balancing patch is again disappointing and further reinforces my point that they don't really know what to do with pvp and they are 100% just going off of community complaints to try and keep the few people around till destiny 2. ~Pulse rifles... well. Clever dragon was over nerfed. was it strong? yes. But there were other pulses. and other primaries worked fine. Bungie further slamming people for running an optimal setup. They "promote" diversity but they force us to options instead. Rest of the changes mean nothing tbh. except the higher impact change. Doubt it's going to matter though. the pace of the game dictates high ROF. ~Handcannons... Bungie be like "so we acknowledged the problem. and fixed it. but not really. oh and here is less range." What a joke. ~Scouts...meaningless. Basically akin to the mida nerf that happened forever ago. community asks for something. well here is "something." ~Autos...So we're drifting back to the early days of destiny where we let the easier used weapons be more valuable compared to the skilled weapons (handcannons) fun. ~Shotguns...I actually laughed so hard my chest hurts. Absurd. It still won't make shotguns less relevant. and it does nothing to help the non high impact shotguns. If anything has ever screamed "we don't understand are game" it's literally any shotgun change they have ever made. Until our movement is significantly different and map size/design stops catering to cqc you won't shake shotguns. ~Hunters...Solar damage is okay? but like. who cares. further shoving blade dancer down I see. I can't actually believe blink is receiving yet another nerf. Like...it's ONLY good as a defensive option. and a poor one at that if your opponent is at least some what aware. and of course vow gets a nerf. ~Titans...saw this one coming. Titans have always been super strong in terms of options. Bungie refuses I guess to let anyone but locks have the light. as anytime a titan has ever been considered meta they get slapped. and the devs ask why titans are underplayed. ~Warlocks...surprised to see nerfs. and another patch that doesn't address sunsingers underhwelming performance. of course. Unless they neutered the storm melee it's still going to be the longest range in the game. which will still perpetuate shotguns on that class. Not sure why landfall needed a nerf. like. what. ~Special ammo changes...So here we have it. forcing us to use primaries for a majority of situations. even though the game mechanics surrounding destiny would show that primaries are just what has the most ammo. not what you are "supposed" to use the most often. maybe in pve. But not pvp. Honestly. I'm glad I decided to be done forever ago. I enjoyed the pve while I could. Rise of iron was fun. but this game has been burning to the ground slowly forever. pvp is a complete joke. It has always had it's rough spots. but it was fun from time to time. but they clearly don't know what they want it to be. Honestly I hope to god destiny 2 is vastly different. if it's even remotely like destiny i'm out. I won't even attempt. This is honestly pathetic.

1 AntwortenSo, they didn't really nerf the matador and NLB still won't flinch. I'm not coming back.
-
They should make all shottys a 2 hit kill at close range and remember your a lady boy for using that crutch pos.
-
still be using mida and shoulder charging every tw@t that gets in my way.... thanks bungie them pulses were OP
-
Most of that looks pretty good. I don't think blink or universal remote needed nerfing again but the rest looks good. I have a hellish Lyudmila in the vault I can now get out!

3 AntwortenDid they say when this patch is coming? Any game modes modified?

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von dnrobs: 2/9/2017 8:54:28 AMAfter this patch the clever dragon archetype will have a slower rate of fire and half the impact of the hawksaw archetype. After the patch Clever dragon rate of fire 71 Impact. 4 Hawksaw rate of fire. 73 Impact. 7 Unless I clearly see a hawksaw archetype change in the patch notes, this will make me wonder if the devs know what they are doing.

When they mentioned gunslingers I was praying for the return of sticking people with trips again. Let's not get ahead of ourselves with the complaints though they showed up a poor crucible match only and these changes may not seem so harsh in our more capable hands

1 AntwortenIf the blink is true I think it might finally be the nail in the coffin for me.

1 AntwortenAlso should add thank you for the convenient summary and to the reddit guys who did the same.

5 AntwortenBrushing off my Nirwins, Hopscotch and White blood soaked Red Death ...... yum yum :)

TL:DR Version: Bungie -blam!-ed up once again.
-
1 AntwortenShotguns will still have a major say in the Crucible. A hundred nerfs later and they are still here (exaggeration).
-
Did hand cannons really need another significant range and fall off nerf as a fix to shots not registering? Do shotguns really need to take one step closer to being a gears 3 sawed off that fires safety foam? Are enough people using pulse rifles yet? Was a reason ever given for why blink was nerfed again? Why the sudden need to make throwing knives naturally have solar damage when it's always been an optional perk? And if that instead means "counts as solar kills," why did it take years to think to include this despite large numbers drawing attention to it since release?
-
Although I am not a big PvP player, I can agree with the majority by saying that I am not a fan of some of the changes, especially the subclass changes. Being a Hunter since day one, I have always liked to use his BladeDancer subclass in creative ways. At least in PvE, I can still be extremely stealthy with it, but now I have even more of a reason not to use it in PvP. Hopefully some of these changes are better than what we make them out to be, but knowing Bungie's past "changes", it is hard to stay hopeful.

11 AntwortenYou forgot to mention the most telling bit of the stream. The bit where deej asked, is anything happening to skorris? The bewildered looks on greg and josh's faces, huh? Skorris? No, erm no changes to skorris. Now i dont particularly want skorris to catch the nerf bat, but i just thought it was rather telling about how little the dev team are aware about the communities concerns, the fact the question had to come from twitch chat should tell you a little bit about how little they pay any attention to anything that is said. It was like they werent even aware it was a thing that has an effect in pvp, let alone something that changes the whole way the game is played.
