Would you prefer a halo 3 anniversary?
I know a lot of people are getting sick of all the remastering in the gaming industry. But I think a h3a could be 343's smartest decision they've ever made.
Let's get the obvious out of the way, they would make major bank off of remastering the most popular halo of all time.
However, that doesn't = smart business move, with that alone.
It's clear from all the free "dlc" halo 5 gave us, that halo 5 wasn't finished at launch. (Seems to be a problem 343 has had over the last few years, MCC was completely broken at launch) it's also obvious to note that if 343 released Halo 5 at launch as it is now, people would be looking at it much differently, and would have been much, much more successful.
So what does halo 3 anniversary have to do with this? It'll give 343 at least one more year to finish creating halo 6. At this point in time, that is the smartest choice they could make.
They desperately need to release a finished halo game at launch, also a halo game that isn't over 50 gb. The file size for MCC and h5 is absolutely ludicrous.

At least 343 isnt scummy enough to charge extra for a finished game. That said, they should sell the game as a beta i its not done and upgrade from there.

It's already available in 1080p/60fps. That's such a waste if they remaster it.

MCC is still in far too much of a mess for me to say no. A remaster would be nice, especially if this time around they took the time to iron out existing issues before launch.

I would be interested provided the graphics are seriously overhauled to make the MCC halo 3 technically a different and less desirable option

5 AntwortenWhile I'd really like H3A, especially the blur cutscenes, Halo 3 already runs well enough on Xbox one and 343's time would probably be better spent on making Halo 6. Microsoft are constantly pushing 343 to release games before they're finished (as evidenced by H5 being incomplete and the MCC being broken at launch) and they need all the time they can get
