Fix Red Death/ High Impact Pulse and Snipers

Couple of things BRING BACK SHORES OF TIME, RUSTED LANDS AND OTHER YEAR ONE MAPS! INCREASE THEIR APPEARANCES AND DECREASE PANTHEON AND THESE OTHER NEW MAPS. I hate these new maps... too big for no reason, 90% of the fighting happens in the same area anyways its wasted space to have them as big as they are with Rise of Iron. 1. Fix the red death (this weapon performs horribly in the crucible now, it should do more damage or have a higher range). 2. Fix high impact pulse rifles in general (currently the meta is fast shooting pulse rifles that everyone rocks like autos... if they are fast shooting pulse rifles they should perform with a damage and range drop off similar to auto rifles. Likewise high impact pulses should perform like scout rifles in terms of damage and range. 3. Fix the sniper flinching. Snipers are a skill weapon, but currently the skill needed to use them is so high that all I ever see now are people rocking shotguns. 4. Make fusion rifles more viable so that its not just shotguns and snipers running around. Fusion rifle are probably the most skilled player weapon in the game. 5. Allow year 1 and 2 weapons to be upgraded to current damage standing, I have some sick looking gear I wish I could carry over (helmets gauntlets/ and especially year one weapons) and am very disappointed that its basically useless now outside of crucible. I refuse to delete them out of hope that you guys will eventually allow players to upgrade them over and be useful in pve once again. 6. For the next Destiny, add more in game puzzles for us to figure out!!! I love that part of Destiny and picking up random clues that might lead to thinks like say "Caydes Secret Secret Stash" and the Black Spindle. I also loved the little ode to Master Chief with him sleeping away in a cryochamber Other than that keep up the good work

  • Snipers are right where they need to be. They need to hit the matador. Nerf to special ammo, would do the trick as well.

    • Pantheon, shores of time, rusted lands and burning shrine are the best maps in this game.

      • Snipers are fine. Trials would be even sweatier if people could take every shot you fired at 'em and still blow your head off. Fusions, again, are fine. It requires practice to use them effectively.

[/quote] Not sure what you mean here...I get put into Shores Of Time and Rusted Lands frequently. I think this is just bad RNG luck on your part if you are not getting them in your rotation when you queue up. Of course, I mainly play 6v6, so maybe that is why. [quote]1. Something to make it able to perform reliably against HRoF Pulses. Hopefully it is one of the exotics that is supposed to be buffed in the Feb Update. [quote]2. There is virtually no damage fall off at Scout Rifle range, that should not be what the devs intended [quote]3. Fix the sniper flinching. I think Snipers are fine where they are. You should not be able to tank, hard scope, and then kill somebody that is shooting you in the face. I also see lots of people using snipers...Again maybe this is because I play 6's. But I would say that sniper v shotguns are about 50/50 depending on the map. [quote]4. Make all of it relevant again so that we can enjoy using it all until D2 comes out. Screw the people that complain about reused/reskin content. [quote]6.
