During Teawrex's Bungie bounty (last game) I found him in my lobby, ecstatic hopefully this would be a good game.
Unfortunately this wasn't the case, a friend of mine (who's name I won't disclose) kept on trying to join me from the Xbox UI. This constant attempt to join is what I believe to have kicked me back to orbit and forced me to join his game.
It's unfortunate it had to end like this, after weeks of searching, but here is he advice.
APPEAR OFFLINE WHILE ATTEMPTING THE BUNGIE BOUNTY this will most likely help you not to return to orbit while in a match.
Those quits you see during the bounties aren't probably rage quits.
As always

GG Bungie.
Edit:
I understand there is bitterness in the post, because I wrote it about 10 minutes after I got booted to orbit, so the bitterness translated into the post.
I don't know if this is Bungie's fault or Xbox's system. But pointing the blame at Bungie seems to garner some attention, and it worked.
I'm not looking for any form of sympathy, I'm just an unfortunate player, just as player who got kicked during a lighthouse game.
But hopefully this is fixed for Destiny 2. As I've given up hope for certain bugs to be fixed in Destiny 1.
