Grasp of Malok never ending grind..!
So I've been farming the Omnigul Strike now for about a month and a half. Grind for skeleton key in strike playlist, get one finally, go do Omnigul heroic, open chest . I must have done this 50-60 times, I've gotten approximately 14-15 Grasps in that time , most of the time they're trash and immediate dismantle and start process again. I got 1 in that time which was a good roll I consider, not god roll but good. Headseeker, perfect balance, grenadier. Used it in crucible and it was good but not great. Still had a bit of stability issue so decided to keep trying, then yesterday I did the nightfall, got my weekly skeleton key and proceeded to omnigul once again . Beat her down and opened chest and got what I consider the perfect god roll Grasp of Malok.
Red dot OAS
Counterbalance
Hand laid stock
Spray and play
Maxed stability and a good reload perk.. my perfect roll., and my quest for the Grasp is finally over. Just thought I'd share my story and would love to hear all of your god roll Grasps.

My quest ended when they revamped the strike into a steaming pile of trash. It's on my not playing again list, so no more grasp for me.

6 Antworteni got an amazing roll pretty early after ttk perfect balance, counter balance 3rd eye i prefer it over the 4 decent hcr clever dragons i got imago loop with decent fakebringer rolls took me 196 nightfalls just before roi that was real grind

My grasp is 4/5 stars: OAS Counterbalance Perfect Balance ( also have Hand Laid option) Grenadier It's still my best pulse rifle - even over cryptic dragon. (My CD has hcr and braced frame + headseeker.)

Meh, waltz/clever dragon... But back on point, I want a God rolled pvp imago and a pve variant...the grind is real...the butt flaps are plenty

2 AntwortenMy journey will never end. Just as my journey for the perfect imago. A perfect imago has sureshot, outlaw, rifled, and firefly. There is no other god roll. Why you ask? Because imago is the new fatebringer. And what good is a hand cannon without range? Please. RNGsus. Please.

I do the same thing, grind for keys and then go straight to Omnigul. Drop rate is horrible for the Grasp. I got 11 bonds in a row at one point. Mostly bad rolls too when I do get a Grasp. My favorite one to use has Outlaw-Hand Laid Stock-Third Eye. I use it over the vender roll Clever Dragon that I have. I hate being without Third Eye, and I use the artifact that gets rid of sprint cool down.

2 AntwortenBack when "Farmnigul" was still active, I had one drop with; Red Dot OES Counter Balance Perfect Balance Feeding Frenzy Bouncing back and forth between weapons as of late but still a really solid gun.

Nice roll. Back when we found farm grasp, I got one that I've used for long time. Has OES, Counter balance, braced frame and guerrilla fighter. Stability maxed but scope sucks and guerrilla fighter is useless. Got one today with OAS, Counterbalance, perfect balance, army of one. Not max stability but think I'll try it out.

Great roll. Congrats. I've been having the same problem with the luna. I barely see them drop and when I do they're awful. Rng is a troll.

My first Grasp dropped with Headseeker Glass Half Full Perfect Balance Focus Lens FLS2 It has a good mix of range and stability. Was happy with it and didn't bother to farm for another one.

I've had many Grasps throughout my Destiny playtime. Given that my vault is full all have been dismantled except one. Red Dot OAS Third Eye Counterbalance Small Bore. I've got a Clever Dragon w/HCR, a vendor Waltz & a PDX 45 with max stability but the Grasp is IMO the smoothest firing gun in this archetype. My favourite pulse for PVP is Hawksaw.
