I have played as a titan from day one. Recently, I decided to play as a hunter just to switch things up a bit and to collect some old weapons (murmur). All I have to say is that I have mad respect for hunters. I've died so much lately due to the lack of amor that is crazy. Maybe is my lack of experience with the character but shit is tougher with a hunter. Fosho!
Edit: just to be clear I'm talking PvE. I don't play much PvP. I just dabble in it.
Edit: I'm not trying to start a class war here guys. My intent was to show appreciation for other players that can use a character with a different play style. For some reason, I just don't feel comfortable playing as a hunter. Titans suit my play style better.
Edit: Stats don't mean nothing to me. Ever since Activision quit giving out achievement badges in '83, I haven't cared ( video game crash of 83. Look it up and learn your gaming history). Yes I'm an OG gamer(odyssey 200, coleco vision and atari 2600) and I'll play until my hands fall off.

I find all three classes have advantages and disadvantages ( pve ). I play all three pretty much equally. I think you are having a lot of deaths because you are not used to playing that class or maybe all of you subclasses aren't opened up yet ( didn't check ). I don't think any class is more difficult than another.

As a Hunter through and through, thank ye Titan.

12 AntwortenHunters and warlocks are the easiest class to use in most cases in pvp. In pve though, Titans have the advantage.

Gotta say I prefer subclasses over generalizing actual classes: Sunsinger is my favorite, then Sunbreaker, then blade dancer. -I started as a Striker and found them easiest to use. -Then Voidwalker also another easy class to use. - Nightstalkers play style of jumping and rolling every where isn't really my thing. Wish it was as you can be very successful doing this. -Stormcaller felt so super based it never really interested me. - Defender is a fun but very different play style that requires a day or so if you jumped from a more aggressive subclass. -Gunslinger was easy to use yr1 now it's just really meh unless you consistently play with it.

2 AntwortenThough I still will be maining Titan again, I decided to restart my Hunter. Forgot how tough it gets. For your case, if you want more survivability, boost your armor stat, and play a little less aggressive. You play aggressively, ESPECIALLY if you're a Titan in PvE. It's rather easy then, but still fun. Also, try to build a whole new set of weapons, specifically around a Red Death, or invest time to grind some weapons with Life Support. It'll help you until you're used to the feel of your Hunter.

They're the easiest to play as.

Yea our health is low,but we have stealth

Thank you for not bad mouthing the Hunter. I always mained a hunter since day 1 but for the past year and half I've really been warming up to my titan. Titans do take more damage but hunter has gotten me out of bad situation more often than titans. Love Hunters.

My friend mains warlock and also had a titan so I convinced him to make a hunter and when he did and he got triple jump unlocked, he was mad I didn't convince him earlier.
-
2 AntwortenI've played a hunter since year one, and switched to a titan as my main just before ttk. I prefer the titan now, but I'll always enjoy playing my Hunter.
-
You want to survive as hunter in pve like you do with the titan? Easy. Nightstalker with shadestep and invisibility grenades. Whenever you're close to death pop an invisibility and get out of there. Need to revive a teamate in the middle of hell. Invisibility. I mained a hunter then switched to titan and found titan to be more difficult to survive simply because of the invisibility. Now my warlock on the other hand, I just get -blam!-ed

4 AntwortenHow have you only just started playing as a hunter?! Have you really avoided playing that class for 2 years?! Also thanks for making a post which compliments hunters, I believe this is first for the forums! Day 1 hunter here, but love all three classes!
-
I mained titan in year one then I went to hunter in year two and gunslinger was my favorite then I got bored and went to titan again and I can't go back
-
I main a hunter but I find it more rewarding and easier to play the other classes.
-
Hunters are super easy to use in pve. You just gotta play like spider man. Bouncing off walls sliding everywhere
-
1 AntwortenUse eao Jordan's
-
You should put the game down if you die with a Hunter in PvE. Just stop playing.
-
I played as a Hunter since the Alpha and switched over to a Titan at the end of Year 2. IMO, it's a lot easier having camo abilities.
-
2 AntwortenMained a Hunter since the day my Ghost revived me, and even before Nightstalkers were introduced, I always played the support on my team while laying down cover fire as well as clutch revivals as the last member of the fireteam alive. I have respect for all the classes, but I find myself only at my best when I start stabbing enemies in their necks with my knives. #HunterLife

Everyone always biased towards certain classes/race. So much to say until you need them for a raid/quest/mission. Then it's perfectly okay, this community has been lop sided since the beginning. Nothing towards the OP, just my quick shit thought.
-
You are totally right about this - and I do appreciate the distinction you pointed out by saying PVE- because PVP is a different story... hunters are the top class for PVP and Warlocks are second... I main a titan and I have to agree with you, I have a warlock now and believe me I do feel the difference between them two.

7 AntwortenI was not expecting to see a post complimenting Hunters... Thank you, sir.

1 AntwortenLol ever see anyone that only has 3 hunters?
-
15 AntwortenSame with titans. I feel like I die due to the lack of agility I have.

1 AntwortenYou just gotta use their mobility to your advantage.
