The nightfall this week is absolutely frustrating. The strike itself is stupid anyway. Not worth your time.
Edit: It's the wretched eye strike. Although, bond brothers suck as well.
Edit 2: I know everyone has a different skill level and you should keep that in mind too. Just because something is easy for you doesn't mean it's easy for others. That being said, the strike is not impossible and just takes patience and time (pun intended). I just don't feel the reward is worth your time this week. That is all.

1 AntwortenThere is cover. The problem is that for 100% cover you need to distract the ogre. Luckily there are three guardians in the fire team. You just have to put a little more effort into doing something different. But that's not a strong point of this community I reckon.

I hate this strike, I always leave it. I managed to get it 3 or 4 times in a row a couple of days ago. Turned the game of in frustration.
-
Why do people gripe about anything in Destiny that is even a little bit hard to do. Everything else has become so easy because of this, If you cant do something just dont do it.

2 AntwortenGrab a sword and memory of radeghast

It was first nightfall of rise of iron with void burn. Nothing hard about this one. Can be completed under 10 mins. Go look at mine an others completion times

It's cool because it keeps you moving but you should be able to kill the ogre or have us do something to make him vulnerable to damage to stagger him. Had potential to be one of the best strikes
-
"We want more strike variety" *gives more variety* "This sucks, I'd rather shoot a bullet sponge boss".
-
8 AntwortenIt wouldn't be an issue if you could do ANYTHING to the ogre. It makes beyond zero sense that this enemy is the only thing in the game which we cannot engage in combat. We can't even stagger it. And this week with exposure as an active modifier... what a joke.

4 AntwortenThe Wretched Eye is flat out the worst designed boss encounter in the game. There is cover but that doesn't matter because the fight is designed to make it not matter.
-
There is cover. Plenty of it .... you just do not have skill.
-
Just because something is difficult for you doesn't mean it is for others.
Also there is cover, more so than there is in bond brothers even lol.
Probably that -blam!-ing piece of Shit Cosmo or Luke Kittydick Smith

4 AntwortenIt's like the developers got drunk and played the game of "Who can make the worst strike?" And one guy came up with a strike that only has you killing nodes with no incentive or objective, then leading to a boss who never staggers, has a gun that kills you in 2 seconds, in a room with no cover, coupled with an invincible boss who follows you everywhere. And to make it harder? Allow the boss to teleport anywhere in the room to insta kill you. Not hard enough you say? What if we spawned hard-to-see enemies that do tons of damage from where you can't see them when the boss is at half health? Is that difficult enough now guys?
-
Yea it would be nice to somehow cripple or kill the ogre, at times it feels like it's running faster than I am.
-
I soloed all the way up to the Boss 3 times in a row then got one other person in with me and finish it off with one person. It took some time but... "You can do it!" In the many voices of Rob Schneider.
-
I'm the worst Destiny player. If I can do it, I'm sure you can! Give it another try and enjoy!

This right here one of the reasons I am growing tired of Destiny and Bungie. Just about every strike boss encounter has us pitted in this tiny space with virtually no cover, waves upon waves of overly aggressive ads that never seem to have to reload, never miss, and seem to all have rapid fire weapons that do triple damage. I'm a fan of a challenge, but Bungie makes every strike exactly the same, it gets tiresome. I'm also growing tired of Bungies "play the way we tell you" attitude. I wasn't aware a video game came with a strict step by step set of instructions. The community also hasn't helped this issue with their elitist mentality, or should I say communist mentality, that EVERYONE need to play the game exactly how they do. OMG Bungie, that guy is hiding behind cover to reload. Change the strike so he can't move 5 feet from boss and can't evade. Do it now Bungie he's "cheesing" it.
-
The entire strike is poorly designed. Whenever I am running strikes, if this strike pops up, I go right to orbit.
-
The potheads at bungo who decided to smoke some hive crystals and snort siva cocaine were the ones who decided this.

Bearbeitet von xRyuVx: 1/12/2017 2:57:10 PMI had fun with the NF this week. We used 3 armor bubbles with dark drinkers and burned the boss pretty fast. You just have to talk to get this one done.
-
It's only frustrating if you're incompetent lol beat it 5 times already first try each, along with all different team mates. You succeed when not playing with idiots.
-
1 AntwortenI don't care about the bosses or any of the other enemies aside from the shanks. You are clearly in cover and they can still hit you somehow XD
-
The ogre sprint speed could use a nerf during the last 25% of the priests health though! That guy is a track star!
-
4 AntwortenSuper easy.....go try it on arc burn

Bearbeitet von Ken Rocker: 1/12/2017 3:23:17 PMI've done it 4x this week. It can be a pain with the wrong group. I beat the timer 3x with communication. Easiest is 3 self Rez locks or a couple Titan bubbles. Have the person being chased by the ogre to kite back and forth when he's sprinting like a savage, while the other two dps the boss. I save all my gally shots for this final stage when the boss' health is low and the ogre chases faster than you can run and jump. You can slow dps with primary on the boss up until that running ogre point - no rush - there plenty of time to do it before the timer runs out.
