Increasing Light Levels
Hi All,
I'm a fairly new player to Destiny (loving the game so far) and was hoping you guys could help me understand the different game modes that will help me increase light levels as a solo player. So that excludes Raids/Nightfalls/Trials. At the moment, my information is based on the initial RoI info released back in September but not sure if it is correct or up to date:
. Blue loot goes up to 365 Light max
. Legendary engrams decrypt up to 365
. Exotic engrams decrypt up to 385
. Normal stike gear up to 340 Light while Heroic goes up to 365
. Strike Specific chest loot goes up to 385
. Faction reward packages up to 385
. Crucible rewards up to 385
. Weekly Strike/Crucible rewards up to ???
. Iron Banner up to ???
Any help will be much appreciated!

Legendary engrams decrypt up to 385. Rank up packages drop up to 390. Crucible, iron banner, weekly bounties (shax and zavala) hard raid, trials, nightfalls, exotics, and strike chests can drop up to 400. Arcons forge can drop specials up to 385 and ghosts, artifacts and class items up to 400. Think I covered it all.

Bearbeitet von megamiketx19: 1/9/2017 1:37:18 PMAlso a good tip to follow is when you go to decrypt engrams start with blue then purple then yellow. Also only decrypt one engram at a time and if the item decrypted is higher light equip it and the go on to then next engram. It will maximize your light increase.

4 AntwortenCrucible drops, strike hoards, IB and exotics will now drop according to your light level. Cap is 400. Same with nightfall, if you get a reward. 350 strikes (heroics) drop 2 blue items at 385. Same cap on rank up packages.
