Liberals follow emotion, conservatives follow logic
I hate using the word liberal it's lost all meaning but I'll use it so people understand. Liberals do what feels good conservitives aim to do what is good for everyone. Simple example is welfare it's horrible and one of the main reasons the black community is in shambles. Liberals feel good saying were helping the less fortunate but simply ignore the consequences.

Do you truly believe that any of these elected asshats are there for you? That they are truly part of their party? Everyone of them would switch parties so fast, if they knew it would guarantee them the win. Both sides do dumbass shit, period. If people would put their ever-lovin pride away & actually work together, America would truly be the most badass country in the world, instead of the most hated, that everyone still wants to move to (Shut up Canada, we know, we know, if it was just a bit warmer, everyone would be moving there. Also, everytime they make up a bill or law that -blam!-s shit up, they should lose their jobs & have every bit of wealth stripped from their moronic asses. Did that & I bet things would be utopian by now or as close as humanly possible!

The government cannot use force to rearrange society to be "good for everyone" because whenever force is used there are definite beneficiaries compared to definite losers. Welfare cannot be "good for everyone." If somebody has to lose wealth in order for another to gain, then "everyone" is not benefited. Protectionism cannot be "good for everyone." If manufacturers have their market share protected by the state, then the consumers are the ones left with more expensive and/or lower quality products. That isn't "good for everyone." The only mutually-beneficial transactions are voluntary ones, and neither Democrats nor Republicans will ever support voluntarism.

The average working class Joe works harder than the morons from both sides in Congress(They're way overpaid for what they "do"). I for one are with the idea to lock them all in a cellar until something productive is done by them all. 4 AntwortenLOL. You realize this is exactly what Liberal's say about conservatives, right? This goes down both lanes :P Both use a very large amount of emotions and statistics to convince people they are doing what is right. Neither side is pure, and neither side is any less-corrupt than the other. However, neither side is as corrupt as most people think. I don't support the people who say America doesn't need to change because they compare us to 3rd world countries. Compare America (This includes Canada and Mexico) to what it could be, not what other places are. Liberals nor Conservatives claim we are helpless, but both sides claim the other side cannot achieve it's goals using it's current methods. Personally, this is what I believe sums up USA politics in general: "Liberals accept change without thinking about the change, and Conservatives deny change without thinking about the change." I'm certain a plentiful people here would like to claim the exact opposite to be true.

But I'm lost as to how the gop wanting to defund say planned Parenthood is a good thing for everyone...Exp since the PP organization isnt only about abortions...It's really only like 5% of what they do...They also do cancer screenings...Help find good day care...Make sure the mother and baby are both safe and healthy...Help with birth control and condoms ECT...My sons mom and I went to PP...To help plan to be parents... Defunding PP will cause more abortions...Not less...

Both use logical reasoning to formulate policy ideas, then use emotional reasoning to sell those ideas. Take a moment to follow the logic of your opposing viewpoint all the way to the end. Look for the strengths and weaknesses. It might very well be a better solution than you think

Abortion sort of breaks this argument apart. The far left side believes a woman should have a right to choose in any situation, the far right side believes it's immoral to have an abortion regardless of how far down the line one is in their pregnancy. Kind of the opposite of your original suggestion.
