We should just get rid of Feedback completely, then we can't listen to how much people detest and want to commit suicide because of the state of everything. I say we bring everything back to it's original value and delete Feedback and only use the forums for bugs, not suggestions to nerf the game.
That is how it should it been and should always be.
All I see if how bullshit this meta is, how bloom needs to be removed, how ARS need a buff, Hawkmoon, Thorn, Ice Breaker yadda yadda yadda. Just remove those problems swiftly and delete Feedback completely. Everyone knows that Year 1 was better before nerf-herders started to take control.
For our own good, we should not have the choice to give suggestions, or better yet request nerfs or buffs, Bungie should decide when that happens, not us, because think of all the stupid nerfing that has happened because Bungie listened to the wrong crowd.
I am all for suggestions for the game that include new content, and weapon archetypes, but not weapon tuning for any specific weapons or any nerfing to subclasses.
And I know there is a lot of arguments stating Year 1 was worse, funny thing is, most of us loved Year 1, because of Thorn and the shotguns, that's right, I loved the cluster the Crucible was a year ago, instead of feeling severely under powered. Now that, made me feel like a real Guardian when almost every gun was perfect, and how there was MANY ways to outgun Thorn.
Now, my final point. Halo felt like a great game for those who played it right? What's the difference between Halo and Destiny? Bungie didn't design the game with suggestions and opinions, they designed it, with STORY and CONTENT. And actually used creativity instead of relying on other peoples creativity for content.
Now imagine if Destiny was built on STORY and CONTENT instead of opinions and suggestions. We'd have no problems, we'd still be in Year 1, we'd have better weapons, and better multiplayer, campaign. *gasp* and better STORY.

That moment when you think he's talking about the storm caller perk

This, ladies and gentlemen, is a textbook example of Stockholm syndrome. How hard has bungie screwed your brain up for you, or anyone else, to think players have a say in even 1% of what's happened and are to blame for this crapfest? The dumpster fire this game is and has always been is completely on Bungie.

So. Make Matador the new Felwinters? Got it. I will pass this on to the devs.
but seriously. Feedback is a cesspool of stupidity. #NerfFeedback
2 AntwortenEver occur to you that people who have objections are only still playing because they can come to feedback and vent and feel like someone might be listening? When you give disgruntled customers... And by the way this is the field I work in, customer retention.. No venue to express their their displeasure. What happens, is they stop doing business with you. The reason why Destiny has retained as many customers as it has, is because feed back allows people to feel like their irritation is being addressed.

at first i was thinking about the year 1 state with the suros and the vex. but still... i was able to wreck people with my 2 burst red death (when impact actually meant something). i even enjoyed high impact scouts. sure, they were not as crazy as the suros or the vex but there was, imo, still a variety of useful guns. later they nerfed them and the thorn came up. while the 2 tap was annoying as -blam!-, its not as bad as the crappy shoty meta that followed after how, late ttk and roi. even with the thorn my red death was shining... red... (yeah sry, couldnt come up with a pun.). overall the balance wasnt perfect in year 1 but imo it was still better than what we got afterwards. instead of breaking everything they should have toned stuff down a LITTLE bit. suros and vex dmg could have been decreased a bit to make the kill time fair, handcannons needed a small buff and other than that... i thought it was fine. maybe a small buff to the high rof weapons. skillfull players knew how to use snipers, shotties were useful too in close situations and fusions were also great. so i pretty much agree. -blam!- the community, dont let them voice their crappy nerf opinions ever again. destiny 1 is broken because of the combination of the communities bitching and bungie listening to them. i hope they dont do the same mistake. only things they should consider listening to is maybe droprates or changes of some pve stuff.

6 AntwortenYes. Lets just totally get rid of the forums when destiny 2 comes around. Then the forum community can't nerf the entire game again!
-
Do you remember those days or were even there for year one? 60% of all crucible weapon usage was exclusively the Suros Regime, the rest was Mythoclast and fusion rifles. Snipers were unusable, people never ran with their primaries, most of the guns were easily outclassed by a select few, the list goes on. I don't understand why everyone looks back at year one with rose colored glasses. Believe it or not it was actually much much worse than what it is today.

Feedback doesn't exist, as far as bungie devs are concerned anyway.
-
1 AntwortenAre you kidding? Feedback is my only entrainment at work, don't nerf it.
-
Woah wait, you guys actually agree? Salt-free peanuts?

8 AntwortenI have an absolutely enlightening proposition for you! Simply remove yourself from the forums and you won't ever see any of that meddlesome feedback ever again! I can promise my proposed solution is both more practical, and possible than your suggestion! Take matters into your own hands!
-
No don't remove them. This is literally what makes my day. I see what people post and I laugh and then I feel better. Not to mention this is essentially my only contact with the outside world.

1 AntwortenAt first I thought you wanted to nerf the Stormcaller perk... the one almost nobody uses because it's in the same tree as Pulsewave and Transcendence. Then I read the post. And I agreed.

Oh it it will never get rid of the problems. They will always find a way. Besides all that. Bungie only listen to the streamers anyways and that is a problem that has become a pay to win. How do you stop that?
-
But you get rid of feedback you get rid of post about getting rid of feedback
paradox!
