I DID IT...this is why I love this game
I have been trying since week 2 of SRL to get my s rank licence. For three. Flipping. Weeks. I tried. And tried. And tried. And today at 3:00 est. I got my last win. I sh!t you not, when I won, I fell out of my chair and cried. I tried so -blam!-ing hard. Destiny gives me moments like this all the time. I -blam!-ing love this game...

Congrats! I noticed that not actually trying to win was about the best way to win. Cruising, ramming hostiles and testing out different ways to handle a corner turned into wins more often than not. Far more often than trying to win.

10 AntwortenCongrats dude. I mean, It took me 6-7 races the S license but I had it with me since I knew how SRL worked and I'm also reaaaaally competitive in racing games. Kinda sucks that previous victories don't count because when I was doing the A license I won 3 in a row. Also used SRL gear that kinda gave me an edge when it came to the races and learned fast the new tracks of this year. I wish that SRL was a much more frequent (and short, 3 weeks every x months it's much) event.

Just in case it comes next year. If you're not going to win, sit at the finish line and wait until it has a second or two left and cross the line. Next match should be easier. Keep doing it until you have your three wins. Remember, if you're not first, you're last.

1 AntwortenCongrats. Unfortunately for me I dont get that feeling much anymore. I've dived so deep in this game and have accomplished so much that nothing feels super rewarding.. The S license quest took me three races to complete. I was done with all srl items in my book within 24 hours of first log in after dawning. I wish this game gave me more to work for, other than lighthouse.
