A time was when I loved Destiny PvP, even with all its flaws. Lately, it is just unbearable and nearly unplayable. Get one solid match with a 2.4 k/d and decent connections. Then the next 5 or so I'm getting 0.4 - 0.6 and getting shot/sniped through walls. Fake greenbars everywhere. I even landed a headshot on a guy with TLW when he was around a corner out of sight. Stupid bullshit kills. I know a lot of people experience these problems, but I don't think I can keep playing Crucible anymore. It's far more stressful than it is relaxing. Just curious how many other PvPers have finally said eff it and stopped playing.
So many people say "just play to relax and you won't get frustrated". But, that's the point, you just can't relax playing Crucible anymore. Not because "K/D matters", but because when half your shots don't register or things are working improperly on a consistent basis, there is no fun in it.
Sure it's relaxing to build something out of legos, even if it isn't that great, but if every time you go to put a block on another and it misses, I'm sure anyone would get ticked off lol.

Hit detection, and invincible enemies would be so much better if matchmaking actually cared about connection quality and gave us low ping games. But it doesn't. Bungie's claims are false.

Just returned from few months of Battlefield 1. Crucible is more fun, that's what matters.

The games are unbalanced. Depending on who the host is you will either do really good or really terrible. You can kind of figure it out if you play enough and learn to play Passive on games where the host does not favor you. It's still not the most enjoyable thing to do. It's just so crazy that a game like Black Ops 3 can run at 30 milliseconds Average ping and this one is 5 to 10 times that

It is absolutely awful and so unnecessary

Peasant internet connections and Bungie acting like poor bastards. They can resolve much of lag, but that's costs money.

A long, long time ago...

2 AntwortenI stopped playing when the matchmaking changed. I could come up with a litany of excuses about why, but the short of it is that I'm simply not good enough to compete against people with such crazy skill. I have two choices; continue playing and getting my ass handed to me in the hope that I'll somehow get better, or completely change my play style to accommodate the shotgun/sniper wankfest that the PVP has become. I never got a lot of kills, but I managed to maintain a positive KD most of the time and not be a liability to the team. I can no longer do that. I'd love to see a blackout mode in the Crucible, the opposite of mayhem; no supers, no double jumps, no magic grenades, and no charged melees, just pure gun skill. (Even snipers and shotguns, I suppose.)

5 AntwortenYou're so full of shit your eyes are turning brown....I'll paypal you a $100 for every shit five game streak you can show me in your game history from the last 2 months. Your ball kiddo

1 AntwortenI love starting matches just running in circles shooting wildly in the air and the rest of the team bail out leaving me and maybe another poor soul to get pub stomped. The enemy team just keeps doing their thing, even if against a lone guardian. Sometimes I wonder if I am playing real people or not.

I feel ya.

I knew that the Crucible would be bad with CBMM a thing, and I try to avoid it now. Hoping to get some Rift done later today, though.
