Have any other PvPers just walked away from the Crucible?
A time was when I loved Destiny PvP, even with all its flaws. Lately, it is just unbearable and nearly unplayable. Get one solid match with a 2.4 k/d and decent connections. Then the next 5 or so I'm getting 0.4 - 0.6 and getting shot/sniped through walls. Fake greenbars everywhere. I even landed a headshot on a guy with TLW when he was around a corner out of sight. Stupid bullshit kills. I know a lot of people experience these problems, but I don't think I can keep playing Crucible anymore. It's far more stressful than it is relaxing. Just curious how many other PvPers have finally said eff it and stopped playing.
So many people say "just play to relax and you won't get frustrated". But, that's the point, you just can't relax playing Crucible anymore. Not because "K/D matters", but because when half your shots don't register or things are working improperly on a consistent basis, there is no fun in it.
Sure it's relaxing to build something out of legos, even if it isn't that great, but if every time you go to put a block on another and it misses, I'm sure anyone would get ticked off lol.

PvP in Destiny I avoided but I loved Halo's multiplier, I just can't stand how unbalanced Destiny's multiplayer is.

2 AntwortenI really don't mean to complain, but for the past few days I've been trying so hard to use different primaries like the wounded, thorn (even though it's just not like it use to be), waltz, outbreak prime, and the first curse; just trying to use something other than "god rolled" weapons like the grasp of Malok and the clever dragon. Honestly, the only guns that I did well with were the outbreak and the curse, but absolutely nothing compares to today's meta. Honestly I love this game, but along with most other people, I could agree with a weapon patch. I just want to be able to use the weapons I like and be able to compete

PvP, PvE you name it. The only thing left that was remotely interesting was chasing Queen's armor. But after multiple class item drops because Bungo has their head up their Bunghole, it's harder and harder to log on. Writing this was more fun.

Yeah, about six weeks ago stopped playing crucible. Actually stoped playing Destiny in anyway. Have done two strikes in that time just to check scoring out. This games crucible is the biggest joke ever. Disappearing bullets, wall that's don't work as cover, lag lag everywhere and the same Clever Dragon, Grasp and matador load outs on everyone. This game for me lacks any fun at all. Sometimes it feels more work than my actual job. All of this and bungie continued failures and lies means I am done with Destiny and anything that has bungies name on it. I have to a least feel that game makers listen to there gamers and try to improve. Bungie fail badly at both of these things. So thanks for the 3 year beta. I won't see you in D2.

I quit playing on October 13th when I got a PSVR and EVE Valkyrie. The best part I play it cause I want to play it, and have fun. Not to grind for dumb shit Bungie is just gonna kneecap and retool in 3 months...Sorry Not Sorry Bungie. Never buying another game with your name on it.

Yep, I used to grind PvP for HOURS (and I mean hours) every single day. Now? 4/5 games and I am straight off Destiny. The whole game has gone to shit and I'm sick of shouting at my tv. Overall the game just feels lifeless, we need Destiny 2-and fast.

I am after today. I don't have enough luck to get good rolls on my weapons and I've been getting outranged all the time in trials because of it. I'm done. Games with high time to kills are only good if everybody starts off with the same weapons or the most powerful weapons are easily accessible, this is why Halo was one of the best fps franchises ever. Nowadays it is about pure luck, such bullshit.

We need to ask for better servers and bring it back to vanilla, bring an actual really good story that feels loved instead of what we've been getting.

It doesn't help the tick rate is really low...especially when compared to basically any other pvp game out there.

Bearbeitet von The 7th fall: 12/26/2016 6:14:19 AMYeah back when it was more on CBMM it was fun because if I got an arse kicking it was legit, if it was a total pub stomp oh well it happens. But when Bungie brought in SBMM and started streamrolling nerfs without fixing glaring issues or thinking about possible issues in the future it became too much and dubbed the worst PvP I've played in years. Personally I'm looking forward to playing DOOM PvP and later on Titanfall when I get it, or if I do. EDIT: The only PvP I now tolerate is the seasonal Warframe PvP where you throw snowballs or use candy canes as melee weapons... that beats Nerfstiny PvP tenfold.

Yeah. 4 or 5 unbearable matches for every 1 that's fun and feels smooth like what we used to have. Been playing strikes a lot more again thanks to this new bounty/scoring system. Even those can get frustrating at times though. Especially with the Taken, just feels like an over abundance of annoying -blam!-ing artificial difficulty, and don't even get me started on the effects of pvp-inspired "weapons adjustments" in pve, along with the essential loss of primary burns.

Switched to titanfall which i really like and i play overwatch from time to time. Dont really touch destiny anymore, i play trials sometimes but thats it.

I was one of those people who could pull off a pretty consistent 1.5ish kd in year 1 but ever since the sbmm was implemented I've pretty much had a terrible time in crucible ever since. But this recent "loosening" or so you could say has actually been pretty good for me

I played Destiny almost exclusively since launch up until a week after RoI, The last year has just gotten worse and worse and bungo seemed to just keep constantly pushing the game in the wrong direction (at lest in my personal opinion) All primaries had been nerfed and nerfed into oblivion turning PVP into basically a battle for special ammo. Some people use fusion rifles to decent effect but in all honesty they'd always be better off with a sniper or shotgun. At lest the Thorn and TLW meta countered specials; thorn wrecked -blam!-y snipers and tlw obliterated shotgun assholes. But that's not the argument I want to get into..... RoI was a huge disappointment to me, a couple weak and shoddy missions against an enemy that really didn't feel like a greater threat than anything we've fought before. Oryx, Atheon, and Crota could have easily destroyed SIVA and the splicers; after beating the previous three SIVA is just childs play frollicks and a laughable opponent. So little content and more of the same. I just stopped playing and started messing around with other games and other games just don't have the frustration that destiny pvp has. I still lurk the forums from time to time but I see no changes. The halloween bullshit thing was a -blam!-ing joke, I wouldn't have guessed that they would be so disrespectful and bold to push such a disgusting cash grab like destiny is a piece of shit cell phone game. So yeah, it was fun but I think destiny is dead.

You outline issues that have been mentioned 100s of times yet post on the Forum. Do you need people to tell you to quit playing because you're not enjoying it? We've all basically stopped. Play another game. Play Destiny on reset if you still wanna do the NF/Shaxx Bounty. It's been 3yrs. The game has run its course.

Clever dragon and matadors everywhere. This meta has the smallest skill gap I've seen in my life which is why I stay away from regular crucible. I'd rather save myself the stress of getting shotgunned every 10 seconds by players playing the daily crucible as if it's their lighthouse game.

I've stopped playing pvp almost entirely. I played PvP some in year 1, tons in year 2, and now less in year 3. This is because I want to relax in crucible. In year 1 crucible was just an easy, fungoing time where teamshots weren't around every corner. In year 2 I was totally PvP focused and was extremely competitive. But in year 3 its always so sweaty, if I stop prying my radar and perfectly examining the situation, I get destroyed. One wrong move and I'm dead. Its no longer the old running around and shooting and getting shot back, its coordinated movement in every game I play that will leave a casual in the dust
