Have any other PvPers just walked away from the Crucible?
A time was when I loved Destiny PvP, even with all its flaws. Lately, it is just unbearable and nearly unplayable. Get one solid match with a 2.4 k/d and decent connections. Then the next 5 or so I'm getting 0.4 - 0.6 and getting shot/sniped through walls. Fake greenbars everywhere. I even landed a headshot on a guy with TLW when he was around a corner out of sight. Stupid bullshit kills. I know a lot of people experience these problems, but I don't think I can keep playing Crucible anymore. It's far more stressful than it is relaxing. Just curious how many other PvPers have finally said eff it and stopped playing.
So many people say "just play to relax and you won't get frustrated". But, that's the point, you just can't relax playing Crucible anymore. Not because "K/D matters", but because when half your shots don't register or things are working improperly on a consistent basis, there is no fun in it.
Sure it's relaxing to build something out of legos, even if it isn't that great, but if every time you go to put a block on another and it misses, I'm sure anyone would get ticked off lol.

Playing a bit yesterday, I noticed how inconsistent my fusion rifle shots were. Shots that I thought I would miss the guy I end up getting g the kill. While shots that I know should have killed only take half their health away. The inconsistencies of the crucible are getting out of hand.

Played 3 games last IB and gave up. I don't have much hope for Destiny 2. Do yourself a favor Bungo and leave PvP for professional developers.

I main pvp in this game but stopped and I'm waiting until an actual weapon patch comes out. If one doesn't come out then I quit.

I am red bar 90 percent of time and this is new. 2 months ago i didnt have this problem. I go to another game and my latency is fine. I feel dedicated servers like every other game has woukd fix this. But its kinda like custom games. We dont have it for 2 years and everyone else has it from beginning then bungie puts it in finally and everyone sees them as heroes and fantastic developers. Itll be same with dedicated servers. People will say how great destiny 2 is for dedicated servers because we were starved for so long.

I was trying to complete my "Control" Shaxx bounty last night. Needing to get 30 advantage kills, while never having the lead is effing impossible. No one is capturing zones! This is not a new mode of play! Why can't people play objectives?! Please change the advantage kills to primary kills (like the other bounties). This way I don't have to rely on window lickers to complete the bounty.

Also every game is 4v5 or 5v6 or 3v4, no one even joins. It starts like that and it finishes like that. 😢😢its a never ending battle...Bungie had this game in development for 5 years then 3 years to fix it. And it keeps getting worse every time whether its matchmaking or weapon balance or pve related. I lol at ppl who say "Destiny 2 is going to be amazing". Come on, this is Bungie we are talking about, masters of reskins...

1 AntwortenEveryone I know plays a hell of a lot less.. they walk away, come back for a day, experience the same Ole bullshit, then walk away for a longer time.. Basically everyone quits for longer and longer periods of time.. eventually noone will comeback

Destiny is by far the worst pvp i've ever experienced, thoroughly unbalanced, shots often not registering, latency so bad it makes you laugh, poor map design...i could go on. What kills me is, this game is over two years old and all the problems from year one not only haven't been addressed but are actually [i]far [/i]worse than they were to begin with, its so fundamentally broken it makes you wonder why its even an option much less something that they promote.

It drove me to walk away from the game in all honesty. I'll stop by again at some point to see if it's improved.

Just ran some trials, went 7-1 and I think I have had my fill for a while. Titan Fall 2 is on sale. Got my Icebreaker today, going to turn stuff in, then uninstall Destiny again. Even LFG for raids are terrible now. The worst of the worst are in there

I got a lot of replies stating, "You've just got bad connection", I hardly ever get lag", or "You're just using that as an excuse". I saw a couple of those replies here on yours, not as many as I got, but some. Most of the replies here are agreeing that the lag is horrible. To those people that claim that the lag isn't bad, the only things I can imagine are: *They aren't able to determine when they've experienced lag. *They are Bungie "white knights", and refuse to admit that the lag is horrible in Bungie's baby. *Are just straight-up lying. *Or a combo of these I think the lag is unreal. I can go 6-7 games straight with horrible lag, then have 1 or 2 games that are decent. I can have whole nights where every single match is full of lag. Then the next night, I'll have mostly good games, but I can tell that others are experiencing lag, when they're going 20 and 5 one game, then 2 and 16 the next, just like I do sometimes. But, I also don't think all the lag is due solely to P2P and CBMM. I honestly think that Bungie manipulates matches, making it so at least a few players experience worse lag than everyone else, every match. I feel like it's random, but I think at least 4-5 on one team, and 2 on the other team experience lag every single match. I'd say they do it to help their goal of 1-1 w/l and 1.0 k/d. Then add P2P connections on top of it, and it's just bad, real bad. Most people say I'm just paranoid, or an idiot, or whatever; but I also see more and more people accepting the manipulation concept on the forums. Just pay attention to the scores at the end of every match. You'll start to notice a pattern between the times you experience lag and when you don't, and how your's and everyone else's scores end up. There's always 2 stompers, 1 on each team at the top with about 20+ kills and a 2.0+ k/d. Then the "lag team" is all negative from #2 down to #6; while the "clean team" usually has 1.0 - 2.0 k/ds for the #2, #3, and #4 players, while #5 & 6 are usually negative. Even when it's essentially the same 12 players, the scores will be exactly the same, except the gamertags in each spot change. Usually, the "stompers" will end up in the #5 or 6 place with a negative k/d, and vica-versa. I understand "streaky" play, but that is beyond streaky play. That's just plain suspicious. I fully believe it's manipulation on Bungie's part.

Wow at all these posts all saying pretty much the same thing! I actually thought it was just me. How can they continue to ignore us like this? IT IS FLAT OUT NEGLECT AND DISRESPECT towards a lot of us who love their game. I've never loved a game this much and I've also never felt such frustration over a game. Honestly, I'm pretty damn sad about it and starting to think they've just said "-blam!- it they'll all come back for Destiny 2".

when my guns wont even fire i just ..change the game. hand cannon wont fire, neither will sniper rifle or rocket launcher...and i wonder why?..

I think about quitting all the time and a lot of my friends want to or have already. However, I still want to love this game but sbmm with weapons not being balanced makes it damn annoying.

3 AntwortenDid the shaxx bounty and got a POS auto rifle and said f this. I shot this guy with a shotgun heard my blast then his we both die... Wtf? Pve with the new strikes is fun but if I want pvp it's titanfall 2 hands down. If destiny 2 doesn't have pvp & pve separated for balance issues count me out. Pve should never have nerfs.

I'm a beta player always loved the crucible and have always adapted to every meta and used to just play skirmish for 4 hours straight a day and now I'm lucky if I'll even log on sbmm didn't bother me but in my opinion they did it far too late as the player base is far too low now and in my opinion in the taken king you had 3 tiers bad players average players and good players now you just have average players good players and highly skilled players so what was the point in reducing sbmm when all the people that moaned about it are basically gone now?

I played last night all of the opposite team had red bar, I died from one shots,one hit blink strike and fusion rifle snipes from a different map. One thing I don't understand is why the hits for a red bar&lagged player are registering and mine with green bar and an entire clip are not . WTF? I took out the disc and I inserted a different game! Bungie hope you sort out your things for D2
