Hey Guardians! Happy Dawning and Happy Holidays! Thanks as always to those who are following along with REEF MOB so far (hope you’re enjoying it!), and to any new readers, welcome! I’m currently getting ready for my second crossover event! I’m still in the planning phases and getting all the details worked out with the other Guardians I’ll be working with, so expect that official announcement with all the links and such after the holidays! The crossover will launch during the first week of 2017, so I look forward to showcasing some excellent characters from the equally excellent fan fic writers I’ve met since I first started this story :) I am also going to be changing up the posting schedule a little –– I’ve been getting very little readers on Saturdays, and that’s my bad for not thinking through the exact dates that would work best for readers. Weekends are tough with the Trials going on, so I’m switching things up. I will now be posting new chapters every [b]TUESDAY, THURSDAY[/b] and [b]SUNDAY NIGHT @ 7 PM CENTRAL TIME[/b] starting [b]JANUARY 2nd, 2017![/b] This is all still a learning process for me and this is a bit of experimentation, but hopefully it’ll help keep these chapters near the top of the feed so that I can try to bring in some new readers and make it easier for current readers to find the newest chapters :) And now to some exciting news! I’m starting a new series! I’m expanding to include some brief episodes about the early adventures of our crew before the events of our current story –– I truly love these characters and how they’ve come to life in front of my eyes, and I want to tell some more of their past missions. All of these mini-stories will be included under the banner of [b]VOLITION LOGS[/b], and I will be posting each of these chapters every [b]MONDAY, WEDNESDAY[/b] and [b]FRIDAY @ 7 PM CENTRAL TIME[/b] starting on [b]JANUARY 1st, 2017![/b] The first of the [b]VOLITION LOGS[/b] will be the story of how Ia got the Volition from the Awoken pirate Loren Seng, and this format will set the stage for all ensuing stories –– just six quick little episodes per “log”, published over a two-week period. As with my last announcement, I’m doubling this post as another Q&A so you can ask any question you want about the story and get the author’s insights. I’m continuing to work as best I can to keep this story rooted in the existing lore, but if there’s any plot points or timelines that don’t sync up with the current lore, please let me know! I try to go back to my earlier chapters as often as possible to look for any mistakes or plot issues, but I do miss some stuff so please let me know if something doesn’t sit right with the lore so I can get it corrected! And if you simply think the story sucks, I want to hear from you too!
