Hey all! Aren't you simply tired of "exotic" pieces of armor that hinder your character because they simply do nothing? Well, I'm going to be talking about those exotics today, and it just so happens that warlocks have a ton of them.
The Stag:
The Stag is one of my all time favorite looking exotics, but unfortunately looks don't mean everything when it comes to exotics. The Stag gives you a chance to respawn with an overshield (respawn doesn't mean being revived or sel-res), and makes you charge your super faster when you are the last guardian standing. The problem with this exotic is that people like to have an exotic that benefits them in every single scenario, whether it be PvE or PvP, and in every game type. The Stag only benefits you in PvP and in the elimination/trials game type, and does next to nothing in everything else. Thus, I believe the Stag should have a chance to give you an overshield a third of the time on respawns AND revives. The overshield rarely activated previously, so giving it a higher chance and making it so that it can work on self-res would make it a force to be reckoned with on any Sunsinger. Also, the second part of its perk should be changed to you get your super faster when two teammates (they don't have to be in your fire team) are down.
Astrocyte Verse:
This exotic is actually just straight up broken I'm pretty sure, and not in the op way. This exotic is probably the one that most needs a rework or significant buff. If you didn't know, this exotic originally gave you an increase to recovery on blink, but the increase is so negligible that the exotic is trash. Thus, they simply need to increase the recovery boost significantly, but not to where the exotic is actually op. Also, I believe that this recovery bonus also needs to activate on Ionic Blink for the Stormcaller, because Stormcallers don't have enough exotics as it is.
Purifier Robes:
This one is actually extremely simple. The Purifier Robes originally gave you the ability to disorient nearby enemies upon self-res. However, there was no reason to have it equipped until you wanted to self res, where you could just go into your inventory while you are dead and equip it. In PvE the ability wasn't useful either. So, this exotic should allow you to disorient nearby enemies upon activating Radiance, regardless on if it was a self-res or not. They should also make it so that you can't equip the purifier robes if you are dead to counteract people from equipping it before they self-res.
Alchemists Raiment:
Where to begin on this? Well, they were obviously going for a magical iron to gold theme on this exotic, however getting GLIMMER on primary ammo is not what people are looking for on an exotic. The second part of the exotic which is getting bonus grenade and melee energy from orbs when having a full super can be found on the LEGENDARY artifact Memory of Felwinter, so why bother? Thus, this exotic needs an entire rework. Going off of the iron to gold theme, I believe this exotic should give you a higher chance to find legendary and exotic engrams. It should be significant too, by the way. Also, I believe the exotic should grant the perk "surplus" for every weapon you have equipped. If you didn't know, surplus makes it so that you pick up additional ammo when picking up ammo bricks. I'd say that would make the exotic extremely useful for all PvE scenarios and the ammo part would make it quite useful for PvP.
Transversive Steps:
These exotics aren't completely useless, however they aren't good either. The ammo part of the exotic is quite useful, but the crouch movement speed is insignificant. To make this exotic better I think they just need to make the crouch speed a bit faster. I know, pretty simple.
