Analysis of the hacks on the DNC by reputable firms.
http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/12/10/505072304/cia-concludes-russian-interference-aimed-to-elect-trump
Evidence of an RNC hack is much thinner. However, the general thought from what I've been reading, and what makes sense, is that simply Trump's potential policy is much better for Russia than Hillary's.
Bottom line, Russia did indeed involve themselves with our election process, out of self interest.
Now, many of you will cry that "the hacks brought to light information we needed to know about!" And I agree. However, that doesn't change the severity of the issue that a foreign government is trying to influence our elections.
Discuss.

Sure but they did us a public service by exposing these criminals

1 AntwortenYeah, damn Ruskies....
Washington (AFP) - US intelligence officials now believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin was personally involved in hacking during the American election campaign as part of a vendetta against Hillary Clinton, NBC News reported. Putin personally instructed how material hacked from US Democrats was leaked and otherwise used, the US television network said, quoting two senior officials with access to this information. The officials said they have a "high level of confidence" in this new assessment, NBC reported. Last weekend The Washington Post reported a CIA evaluation that Russia had hacked the emails of US persons and institutions as a way to sway the election in favor of Republican Donald Trump, who eventually did beat Clinton on November 8. Putin is said never to have forgiven Clinton -- then secretary of state -- for publicly questioning the integrity of parliamentary elections in 2011 in Russia, and accused her of encouraging street protests. 1 AntwortenYou know what I find to be the funniest part? That the Russians hacked documents that show the DNC rigged the primary in Hillary's favor yet they dont care about that. Instead they care about russia releasing documents that show this corrupt behavior. The DNC actually rigging the primary is much worse than the Russians releasing documents showing they rigged the primary

3 AntwortenDenied by the FBI Denied by for UK ambassador Denied by members of the CIA Obama hasnt said anything specific Intelligence won't brief electors or congress. The DNC leaks were released well before Trump appeared as if he had any chance at winning. Yet still people dont realize it was Seth Rich who leaked the DNC emails.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von U6757109: 12/15/2016 8:35:05 AMThe only problem is that the Wikileaks were revealed during the Primaries too. And this is still all hearsay. The CIA hasn't given us a single shred of evidence from these "anonymous" sources. So until they make the information public, it's all meaningless bullshit to me. The CIA claims the Russian government did it, Putin denies it. It's just hearsay.

Russia is always going to be our adversary, this is just another move that nations play on each other. All this tells us is to play better.

30 AntwortenConservatives aren't bothered by foreign governments hacking. Because...reasons? I have no idea. I can only hope they have something juicy on Republicans that they're going to drop after the inauguration, then we can watch them lose their shit.

11 AntwortenSome interesting evidence, was reading about the programs used a few days ago. How does it match up with Assange and others in wikileaks saying their source was not Russian and suggestions it was Seth Rich?
Bottom line, Russia did indeed involve themselves with our election process, out of self interest.
You can't really substantiate that claim.
However, that doesn't change the severity of the issue that a foreign government is trying to influence our elections.
What is your opinion on Saudi Arabia openly funding 50% of Hillary's campaign? As well, if it is immoral for foreign governments to influence other states and elections, even through peaceful means are you're suggesting Russia may have in America, do you also oppose the American government's long track record of toppling foreign governments through direct and indirect violent action? Particularly in the middle east?

1 AntwortenIt's all conspiracy fake news. Trump knows the cyber, and he's got some tremendously smart people advising him, like his 10 year old son Barron, who's just unbelievable with the cyber. If Trump says the Russians didn't hack us, chances are he's right.

I'm all for freedom of information. Just bothers me that they won't leak the information from the republican hacks

Finally, some reason on this website

12 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cobravert: 12/14/2016 5:22:33 PMBottom line is; You voted for Hillary because you were going to anyhow. You voted for Trump because you were voting against Hillary. Ok, maybe a few were voting 'for' him. Hax or no, nothing that came out of the leaks changed anyone's mind about the way they were going to vote. The only thing they may have done is reinforce those against Hillary a little more so. If anything you would think that the leaks may have made some Bernie supporters NOT vote for Hillary. I seem to see more of those who threw (are still throwing) post election tantrums are Bern-outs. It still amazes me that their candidate was railroaded, but yet they back the person who was driving the train.

3 AntwortenIf I become president and found out it was because of foreign influence I would do everything in my power to make them regret it and them some. I would probably propose war in most cases, but Russia has nukes.
