"See more in the Eververse store."

This line. This one line. Makes me think that most—if not all—of the items in The Dawning will be locked behind a paywall. If they are, what will you (players) do? Waste your money? Not buy it? Ask Bungie why they want so much money? We've been asking for a legitimate balance patch for Crucible for months. Xbox players have been asking for Jade Rabbit, Zen Meteor, and that one exclusive strike they have for months. I want Sector 618(?). But my opinion doesn't matter. They don't give it to us. They give us the Festival of The Cost and The Dawning. Four recycled strikes, three recycles weapons, and SRL that isn't permanent (excluding private matches.)

2 AntwortenWell I mean they could be sly and have them cost silver dust Also
i want sector 618
Stop stop stop stop stop

5 AntwortenYou started talking about how your're little sour because COSMETICS cost extra, and you ended bitching about how you chose the wrong console and how Sony made a deal with Bungo. Your rant is incorrect, also I own a Xbox one I prefer PS4 I'm not biased.

2 Antwortenactually we get 3 strikes not 4 and 1 recycled weapon and 2 new weapons

2 AntwortenMore like "the disappointing" Am i rite???!!

I prefer $RL even though I am not against it. Just sounds better than The Costing.

They said the same thing about the April Update.
Just because Eververse is selling it, doesn't mean that's the only way to get it. You can get it for free, but whatever you desire probably takes longer to get.

If you're going to talk about rep boosters, 3oCs, and the like, see Variks. The man gives them away once a week at Rank 2 or 3(forgot), and you have a chamce at specific boosters from ranking up with the Vanguard or Crucible.

Microtransactions only suck if that's the only way to get the thing. Protest with your wallets. Don't buy anything.
3 AntwortenIt's a bloody free update. Everybody needs to chill.

From what I've seen so far it already is the Costing or $RL or whatever people want to call it. Bungie just can't give us anything for free. It's clearly just not in their makeup to do something solely for our benefit and with no sort of strings attached.

I kinda want pew pew but its not a dueling emote so I'm not getting it.i swear if it was done with one other at the same time and one pretended to die at the end I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Otherwise nothing else seems worth it to me.

1 AntwortenI was looking forward to grinding the activities in the game to get rewards, specifically the dawning armor set. Apparently it's locked behind a pay wall. This is truly disappointing, why not let the people who want to grind play the game for it, and let others but it?
-
I kind of figured from the start that it was going to be another crash grab like Festival of the Lost, just a bit more added to it.

Depends on how much you wanna spend...

Tess Eververse was in the trailer, so....
-
the yawning
-
10 AntwortenLets list the free things that actually matter -Sparrow racing and book for it -Ice breaker and scored strikes -The weekly presents (not to mention it appears they can give up to two exotic engrams) -Void and Solar thunderlord quests -The new armor sets And much more im probably forgetting Quit moaning and enjoy the game or dont play at all
-
Well what I imagine is that it'll be the same as last years srl... there'll be the gifts given to us each day this year but if we want extra, we can buy more. At least the record book is free and we're getting gifts each day. And it showed in a recent trailer that one of the gifts can/does give us 25 strange coins and 2 exotic engrams...

6 AntwortenStep 1: buy a PS if you want exclusives. There is and never was a pay wall. All items were cosmetic. Nothing that gave an advantage was sold. If you want the cosmetics, spend some money for a chance to get them. You get free boxes. If they gave away a ton of free boxes, no one would buy them.

I don't see a point in complaining about exclusives, that's overdone. But everything in The Dawning will certainly be behind a paywall.
-
It'll be the donging

From what I can tell the only thing locked behind a paywall is the Dawning armor, it looks like everything else you can race for. This is from the updated Dawning page. This year’s celebrations coincide with SRL, and Amanda Holliday has prepared two brand new tracks. Sparrow Racing is a six player free-for-all race through enemy territory. Hit gates to boost your speed. Dodge obstacles and fly past the opposition to earn SRL-themed racing gear, Sparrows, emblems, and shaders. We'll find out soon enough.

Bearbeitet von Kana, Rogue Kobold: 12/13/2016 12:46:08 PMSo you're saying that you feel it is wrong for Bungie to honor a deal they made? You have provided no evidence to support your fear that The Dawning will be behind a paywall. The examples you listed were not behind a paywall. Instead, there was extras involved with purchasing the SRL book, most of which were beyond terrible. The shaders were really the only remarkable thing that came out of SRL last time. As for Festival of the Lost, tell me, what exactly were you denied for not spending silver? The answer is simple: Not a damn thing. If the crux of your argument is based solely on the existence of PlayStation Exclusives, you would be better served ranting about that than trying to somehow use that to fuel some nonsense argument about Eververse.
