Vex are retarded
Apparently in the main story in destiny, the traveler is getting drained and ruined by the black garden, and all these guardians are getting screwed up by the black garden as well. All of a sudden, 1 guardian goes down to the black garden and POW!! It's dead, and the traveler is safe for a little. If the vex are supposed to be "highly intelligent" then why the hell didn't they just teleport their whole firkkin army down to the black garden so they could turn the guardian to plant food for their god?

Because the black heart is not their god. In the book of sorrow it is stated that the vex and the hive were in the middle of a stalemate war for a couple of hundred years. So the vex decided to create an axis mind to study the hive and then find a way to crush them. So a couple of hundred years past of the axis mind studying and then screwing around with the darkness when it then decides if we can think like them then we can understand them and if we understand them then we can eradicate them. So since the hive worship the darkness the axis mind was then capable to create a being made out of complete darkness (the dark heart) who was then speculated to be worshipped by the vex attacking the hive the sol divise. The war ends with the hive killing the axis mind and then oyrx sealing the tear in his throne world and killing the remaining vex. And so the dark heart remained intact and the sol divise without any new programming or orders was then left to worship it to the end of time. In conclusion the sol divise are the only vex who actually care about the heart and since they have no mind that understands the dark heart they can't move it.

Also, there are other things for the Vex to protect or attack so they can't have all of them in the same place at once. They attack Worlds to make them into machines for their benefit and they protect the Minds that control them. I do think they could've brought more adds into their heart but I think that part is just bad story telling to be honest... Edit: Im dumb. I was focusing on only the final battle with the 3 Ultras. I didn't think of all the adds that spawn before you get to the final area that you have to kill. Also, the Vex are extremely smart and they know that changing the past could lead to Time Paradoxes. So it isn't as easy as you think to change the past.

Why does Aksis send out fallen captains that carry the only weapons that can kill the servitors that carry the only bombs that can harm his shield? Why does Crota send out a swordsman who has the only sword that can hurt him during his fight with the guardians? Why did Oryx send out ogres with the only bombs that can hurt him? Why did the vex create the goblins? They have a huge crit spot that glows? Why couldn't they put an armor plate over it? The Minotaur is well protected, so seriously, what the hell? Why do cursed thrall stop running when they come within 30 feet of a guardian, then slowly walk? None of it makes sense.

Since the Vex down in the Black Garden were worshiping the Darkness as a god, does that mean Atheon didn't follow that order of Vex. Maybe Atheon became powerful and revoked the worship of the Darkness, so he and his followers were locked within the Vault of Glass. Edit: Wow I didn't realize this many people come to the forums to tell people they're theories are wrong even when they don't know anything.

Here's a suggestion: There are multiple realities for this situation. The game just so happens to take place in the multiverse where the Vex decide not to. Otherwise it would be boring.

Well if vex can time travel, they have all the time in the world to send back reinforcements. When the vex do that the black garden is never destroyed.

Because plot device. I don't think anything our guardian does is 100% canon, it's lot more likely that in the Destiny universe it's a team or a large group of Guardians

2 AntwortenThe Vex are "Highly Intelligent" not Infinitely Intelligent. There a some things that even they can't simulate. Some of these things are: Guardians, Oryx and other Ascendant Hive, and Warminds. That is how some scientists determined if they were a simulation within a Vex mind. They brought in a Warmind.

It says the Vex are actually quite intelligent and it was only after scanning researching and learning about the Heart of the Black Garden did they begin to worship it. The Vex are intellectual beings and they found something they couldn't rationalize. It was a foreign being that not only showed great unknown power but also offered new opportunities to do what the Vex have always wanted. To surpass death by becoming synonymous with it.

The vex is one mind, all the bots we fight are just its arms basically. The vex primary mind probably didnt deem it worth the effort. We arent the vex's enemy, they adopted the hives logic in the book of sorrows, literally just wanna destroy the universe. So the black garden and the traveler are just a curiosity. It can attack the traveler anywhere in space and time but right now its probably dealing with other life forms with bigger armies.
