I've been playing this game since beta.
Put thousands of hours into this game.
I look forward to every TRIALS and every iron banner but I always end up falling short on TRIALS.
I'm good at shot gunning and sniping but everyone I face is better.
Literally the only time I've ever been good was when thorn was OP. That's where I got all 15 of my flawlesses.
Like seriously tho I'm trying. I'm watching streamers. I know what to do but I'm not getting better I'm getting worse. And this is with every game.
I remember the 1st cod 4 I had a 2.0kd now the new one I have a 1.0. I used to own people in 2k now I get owned.
I'm blaming my age. 24 sucks.
I remember 10-12 years ago just being a slayer ;(

If you have been finding Crucible much harder... so have I. New MM protocols introduced on the 6th of September grant stiffer competition in regular Crucible. I'm a verified Crucible Sherpa, I'll go through some shit if you want to (im on Xbox.)
-
Age 29, not going to give you a grocery list of things to do....Play crucible often and figure out what load-outs are best for you.

1 AntwortenI have the same problem dude. Y1 flawless 20, y2 5, and y3 0. I just can't be consistent 1 game i can wipe the the team alone the other they wipe floor with me lol.

What did you "slay" when you were 12.. Legos?
-
I'll be 23 on Friday. Definitely not age. My advice? Pick up some fighting games. Get better at reads. Learn how to react in a split second. Read some books too.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von GG ALLIN RIP: 12/5/2016 11:07:50 AMI think the problem is that you're 24 and playing a video game too much. Go smash some puss. All kidding aside, don't blow your 20's on a game. You'll be 40 before you know it...

Dolores is that you?

Lol age? I'm 32 and have gone flawless 10 times in "year 3" (wife, two kids, lots of after school activities). Its not age there buddy. Could be your team u roll with, could be bad communication, could be that year one there were a ton of poor/average teams trying and they were easier to beat and now that the trials pool is much smaller, u r facing more elites. U can be an accomplished shotgunner/sniper but if u use the same lanes that everyone is using and have used for three years, then the counters are known. You are now generally facing a better educated opponent on these old maps. U might not need to play "better", try playing "different" and see where that takes you.

4 AntwortenI'll let you kill some goblins if it makes you feel better.

Gear can also make a difference. Age of your TV/Monitor, screen size, network speed, where you live.

Well, at age 10-14, what did you really have to do? Go to school, play games, maybe do chores or help with family stuff? You could drop a lot of time into playing FPS during the time when your brain was at it's most reactive and formative. Now, I'm sure you either have college or a job. Maybe a wife and or kids. Bills to pay, things around the house to fix, stress to be had in general. It may not seem like it, but you can only devote so much of your time to it compared to back in the day. Set practice goals, practice 1-2 hours a night when you can, just play a game or two a night when you can't, but focus in on what's weak for you. Ignore the K/D, the Win / Loss, and just focus on one thing until it's solid, then move on to the next.

U suck because you suck
-
You suck because you believe you suck.

Play more cautiously?

I'll be 31 in two months. Red Bull and glasses helped me lol. Ugh, just saying that made me grow a beard on my neck.

Pro tip. Don't be a vacuum cleaner.

I feel the same

It's not your age. I remember when crota's end came out and a guy who was 60+ years old uploaded a video of him doing it solo. Don't blame your age. The problem is probably with the guns you're using. Try something different. Scout rifles, sidearms, fusion rifles. There are a lot of bad guns, the trick is finding the good ones.

I'm pretty average too mate but every now and again I destroy the opposing team, I've had a few games in my time on destiny with around a 5 kd, only a few and there was one match the other week I came out with a 6.67. This is rare for me and most of the time I'm average at a 1 or 2 k/d if I played well. There's a lot to take into account but I think mostly it's sbmm at work putting us against better players or a team that just works well together. Keep going, you'll get there one day but age is not to blame, I'm 30 and do alright for myself most of the time.

Don't take the game too serious. Learn map and radar awareness and how to choose your engagements

After 21 or 22 your reflexes and hand eye coreidnation start to slow down.
-
You don't suck. Everyone is just better than you ;)
-
You just have to believe

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von Unknown: 12/5/2016 6:30:33 AMI think it's the P2P connection. That and the 10 tick rate. For a game that is trying to push it's PvP into a competitive scene, it's powered by 2 hamsters on a treadmill. It works well for some people. Others get 2 shot from mida and sniped thru walls.
