Holy shit, you've invested almost half a year in this game. From that stand point I'd say play other shit lol. Like you, I've played a metric shit ton of destiny, and I agree there's areas they could improve. The point is saying destiny is dying isn't reflective. Destiny, as a franchise, has broken records but there's no doubt it's currently in a lull. All games hit that period. To you, given the time spent playing, I'd say you should be on here helping correct issues and get information to Bungie as opposed to "destinys dying". My guess is your a streamer or content creator and need to be putting out a better image than that. Goth is a great example of someone who plays the game, can be critical of issues while maintaining professionalism on his part. Best of luck to ya.

The frustrating thing is that bungie has left their fans in the dark for too long and no one feels like their opinions matter in the destiny community. It's been a tiring road and staying optimistic in it is just near impossible. That being said streamers like goth rely on this game for income so they can nimble at the hand that feeds them but they are not and will not be brave(or dumb enough) to BItE the hand that feeds them. What this game needs has been put on the forums an exhausting amount by a lot of their fans and 3 years later a lot of gripes and complaints remain unanswered. A lot has to do with the game but a majority has to do with bungie itself. A weapon balance takes 6mths? Lag still a huge problem after 3 years? Anemic dlc? Just a few of the things that just don't make sense and are truly killing the game. Hope destiny 2 learns from this. Like I said I really liked this game at first.

I agree with those points but I guess I look at it through the lens that Destiny 2 was built to address issues starting back in sept 2016. They had to scramble due to unknown issues/improvements that dropping last gen allowed. Not making excuses but looking at it from the point of I've got more than my money's worth and I consumed this game like I never had with another franchise ever. I honestly think D2 will be in GoTY talk for 2017 or 18 but will see stiff competition from games like Mass Effect: Andromeda and Ghost Recon Wildlands if they drop on time.

Hope so- it's a first time ip so I expect a learning curve from them. Hope they learned!
