After about two year my ps4 has finally started acting up. It seems minor but in not sure if it is worth sending in for repair or just scraping it and buying the new pro. Now I don't have a 4K tv as I use an Epson projector. Besides playing at that resolution. Are there any real upside to buying the new pro? Or getting the uncharted ps4 bundle? (I believe that has the slim ps4, while I have the original white destiny model.) p.s. Not the one that came out for the taken king with the cool designs. The white model that was for vanilla destiny.

1 AntwortenThats ironic, I just traded in my (also original all white) destiny ps4 to gamestop for store credit towards the Pro. My Og ps4 was acting up since the first week i had it (would auto-eject, ran loudly, blah blah) so it was a blessing in disguise because I absolutely love my Pro. It runs sooo smooth and quietly, ACTUAL BUTTONS for eject/power, and the extra power lets me stream from ps4, and play more graphically demanding games as if it were a Honda that just loves to get rev'd. (Dont hate on Honda plz ;p) I'd say do it! In the future games will become more power demanding and the Pro is a BEAST! Ps. I never had sony fix my og white ps4 because the process takes time, and they couldnt guarantee i'd be getting my same all white one back. Now some poor soul is gonna buy it from gamestop so excited thats its all white OG destiny edition........but its doomed to fail soon :/

1 AntwortenLove my pro. But from a real hands on point of view... Without a capable 4k tv, you will not see a huge difference unless you are playing a game made for it. Tomb raider will look spectacular with the max settings of a pc on a 1080p tv and other games with higher resolution will look even sharper on a 1080p tv but it will be about a week and you just would not know the difference any longer. It is a PS4. But it is a PS4 made to compliment 4k tvs and that is where you will be in awe. The image quality is crazy good and if the game supports hdr... it will drop your jaw. The other info would be the wifi. It was upgraded so if you do not play wired, it is a good perk for the pro.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Neutrill: 11/29/2016 11:52:40 PMShould you upgrade from a regular PS4? I'd say no. But your situation is unique. If your console breaks then I'd buy it. Slim PS4 got nothing but bad reviews. It's a joke of a console. Please don't make a bad choice and get one as the Pro is only $100 more and is a much better console.

2 AntwortenOne extra USB slot, almost double the graphics processing, hybrid state hard drive and 1 TB storage and let's not forget the HDR.
