Bungie, You Better Make SRL Amazing.
Over the past couple of months since Rise of Iron launched, me and my friend have played this game on a weekly basis. There was stuff to do for a little while, but that quickly went away. We did all the new strikes multiple times, got a lot of good weapons, did the normal raid a lot, and did trials a bit. Once the hard raid and challenge modes came out and we completed them every week since, the fun died fast.
The Festival of the Lost was a very dissappointing event that gave very, very little and expected loads of cash for anything extra. This was not as bad last year, but the event still provided barely anything cool. Then, SRL came along. It was a breath of fresh air that gave us something fun to do for a while, with actual rewards.
This worries me. SRL was my favorite thing about Taken King last year. Even if it only had two maps and three armor pieces were not infusable, it was still fun and I could play it for a long time and not get bored. Seeing as how you somehow made FotL even worse, I am worried as to how you can mess up SRL. This event does not need more microtransactions. You are already losing players and enraging your loyal playerbase because you cannot stop charging us for so many things.
If you cannot make this event amazing,(with little to no microtransactions) it will show that you have no care for the playerbase, and likely will carry these terrible habits into Destiny 2.(the game you decided to start working on before fixing the many issues in the current game)
Edit: Holy cow, over 400 replies! Let's keep it going! Maybe Bungie will actually respond!

Bungie, if you change exactly nothing about SRL from last year, that would be great. It was 100% not crap. Please keep it that way.

I don't expect anything from $RL. The only reason I kept on racing last year after finishing the quest was to try and get max light gear. They're in business to make money, and I'm cool with that. I'm not throwing any at the screen though. Speak with your wallets, really the best way for them to listen.

19 AntwortenPlease stop whinging about this year's festival of the lost. It was significantly better than last year's. Last year you got three free masks. This year you got a green engram, tiger, speaker, cryptarch, traveller, Saladin and three more free. It was a huge improvement over last year's.

Made so these games could pay attention to connections, dedicated servers and doing something better with guns bedsides giving same perks just different names and colors.... but that's alright you want Bungie to spend their budget on mario shit in Destiny. smh

36 AntwortenFestival of the Lost was bad? First festival we got 3 masks for free and that's it. This festival we got 4 shaders, 2 enblems, a timed sparrow, and 3 masks for free. Festival 2015 = 3 free items Festival 2016 = 9 free items, 10 counting the timed sparrow. Sure the best stuff was through micros but it was still more free loot the the first one. Only thing I don't want to see from this srl is another micro srl record book. The last one cost us 10 dollars, so I think this one, if there is a record book should be free.

If we're racing in a straight line, let us stand up while riding and be able to shoot. If we bump into the shooter, have them flinch and wobble. Have the newer sparrows be able to use Supers and shoot arcs of whatever element they supposedly have. If we run into an enemy with Memory of Timur, give us a chance to turn them, cause why not. Finally, Bungie...give us Mario Kart style music. Ask permission, I don't care. Make it so!
