Title says all.
EDIT: Well shit.. we are trending.
Might as well share a few of my experiences.
2 months before Rise of Iron was released, some randoms invite me out of the blue to get me to help them through King's Fall on Normal.
All of the other five were salty squeakers who took 15 minutes to get past the tombship puzzle. The idiots couldn't even do Totems. Hell, one of them was only a 260. After wasting an hour of my time, I decided to ditch those stupid kids.

As requested, I have another LFG story. Twas doing Wrath of the Machine, at the Death Zamboni. As my team boarded the vehicle, I put on my best British accent. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is you captain speaking. Thank you for choosing the Death Zamboni as your transportation today. Please keep your arms, legs and Ghallahorns inside the vehicle at all times." This made the team begin to laugh. *approaches first wall. "Brace for impact!" *smash wall "Ladies and gentlemen, we will be disembarking momentarily for maintenance." *all parts installed *crash through second wall *approaching cliff fall "This is the captain speaking! All passengers and crew, abandon ship! Recommended that you disembark from the rear of the vehicle! *team is now roaring with laughter *Siege Engine is now rapidly approaching the end of the wall "Mayday, mayday, maday! Death Zamboni declaring an emergency! We are going down, repeat, we are going down! All passengers and non-essential crew have evacuated!" *Siege Engine crashes, I jump off at the last second on to the rocks. *team is laughing so hard Now, as a tradition, I always ride the Siege Engine down to the last second.

3 AntwortenI've got nothing against playing with "squeakers" but there's nothing worse than playing with kids blaring dubstep and crunching on food.
-
3 AntwortenYou'll all be shaking in ur boots with this one: Joined a normal fresh raid. Joined the party. I join to 5 kids that were no older than 10. One's crying. The other one is yelling at his mom to get him more food (Not politely might I add). One is screaming about how everyone needs to shut up. My friend (who is also 10 but a very cool kid) is just laughing his a** off, and another is going to the fu***** bathroom with his mic on. And you could hear everything. Top that people on the forums. Top that.

Joined a Raidteam for VoG that had 4 hunters on it. I backed out faster then Hillary deletes her emails.

Did one LFG back this was waay back in Crota End raid though. A group needed a guy with Gjallarhorn, I was it. We downed Crota and with a sliver of his health left, the party leader kicked me and invited their friend back. I didn't get jack shit, pretty much used at that time. I came to learn that I don't trust LFGs on destiny cuz pretty much most of the groups I get invited to are a bunch of squeakers. I do however enjoy how horrible their strategies go even though I have more experiences than them. They don't bothered looking at grimoire score or my raid armor and weapons xD

15 AntwortenLast week Aksis challenge. Get a guy off LFG, he's got a funny post so we invite him. He then says he uses a weird loadout but can handle his own. I'm on left side with him and notice he is using..........HARD LIGHT! I ask why he using it and he says it's great for killing the shanks, it can ricochet off the walls, so we proceed. We wipe a few times, just not getting the supercharge, and we see his kills, he has less than 5 each time! He complains saying "I'm getting more than that" Next round he starts using rockets with clusters to KILL THE SHANKS! We wipe a few more times with me pretty much soloing left side, then our group calls it a night. I Have told this story a few times now, and now our group will always have a good inside joke about using hard light for the Aksis challenge! Gotta love LFG!

5 AntwortenKings fall. Daughters. We get a LFG Titan. Turns out he had no idea you could cancel your jump. Thus proceeding to do these big floaty Titan jump and yelling there is never enough time to get the relic.
-
2 AntwortenThis is my brothers story. He joins a Daughters checkpoint on hard mode. Host and team are British squeakers that are carrying their 250 friend.

4 AntwortenWas looking to do WotM Normal. Saw a post saying "Helping my Friend through his first WotM. Need 3" I clicked on it and the description said: "390+. Helping 385 friend for his first completion." I messaged and said: "390+ for normal?! You've got to be kidding me! Smh" He replied, as he also sent a friend request: "It makes it easier. You coming or not?" "Nope." I found another group all sub 385. We finished in good fashion. Took about an hour. I checked the other guy's party in between bosses. He never found a 6th. Wonder why?

66 AntwortenI had a group once... Hey do you mind not using Dreg's Promise on Aksis? No man, it's better than a sniper.

1 AntwortenGuy told me he used to include "will send nudes" in his posts

2 AntwortenDoing hm ttk, some goof puts a titan bubble directly in front of final-phase oryx.

6 AntwortenPosted 365+ raid for newbies. Get all 385+ experienced players....

1 AntwortenMade a post on lfg last week looking for a team on aksis. Mentioned that I was experienced, had dark drinker, melting point, etc. and made sure I put it under aksis phase 2. Got invited by 2 kids that apparently were doing trails. They were livid when they saw I had no trials stats and proceeded to scream at me for wasting their time before I told them to learn how to read and left the party.
-
4 AntwortenI asked for a 390+ for hard mode wrath of the machine and got a legit 250
-
So, I joined an LFG group for Aksis challenge a week ago. The first thing I heard was a (what sounded like) 5 year old yelling,"I'm black n**ga". Needless to say I left immediately.
-
2 AntwortenSaw this post once: King's Fall Heroic Must be 375+ LL. Be experienced. Must be over 20 years old and have a southern accent.
-
3 AntwortenHard mode oryx, guy running plate 3 was running a self res warlock with TLW and a party crasher. Oddly enough, he had problems getting his knight down.
-
2 AntwortenPost says 400 light and Platinum Gjallarhorn. Host is 365 and has a wooden Gjallarhorn. ......
........
-
3 AntwortenThe guy who shouted that if we could not do it in three tries he was kicking folks. He died first.

5 AntwortenJoined a group of people with the strictest requirements ever. Luckily I was invited. As soon as I joined. -380 -350 -350 -350 -400 Now I'm 400, so was my only buddy in the raid. He fit the ALL the requirements that were possible. Who set these requirements? The 350... I'll tell you the requirements (This was before Aksis challenge, only Vosik) -Must be 390+ -Must know how to do Vosik, Seige Engine and Aksis challenge -Must have done hard raid at least twice and have gone flawless The owners didn't even fit these. Friendly reminder: Seige Engine challenge, lol. So that was half of it. We started it up and. Nobody knew what they were doing. Me and the 400 protected all three of the foundries while they fumbled around. Only helping when the bombs dropped. We got to the jumping puzzle, I skipped the chest and they SCREAMED at me. Claiming that it wouldn't give exotics if I didn't open it. I almost got kicked if I hadn't reminded them that I was 400. Fast forward half an hour and they finally made it to Vosik. Yet again. Me and my 400 friend two manned it, the rest just picked up the bomb and threw it whenever they got it, no countdown. Took us five wipes. And we made it to the second jumping puzzle, more screaming, more time wasted. Then came along the kicking, two 350s were kicked and replaced with two more 380s. Who weren't afraid to troll. Hard. The leader refused to kick them because they were his friends. They carried the parts backwards and blamed every wipe on me and my 400 friend. We eventually passed it. Aksis phase 1, I got kicked because apparently I can't kill all the servitors. Eventually I got a message from my 400 friend saying he finished it. After he accidentally got promoted and kicked all of them. Good on him.
