3 AntwortenI'll just leave this here:
Excuse me, but I do not have Internet connection issues. This means I must have brrn banned for something that wasnt even my fault. I joined two randoms on lfg because my friends were too frustrated with Trials. We get the first two wins, leaving us at 4. Next match, someone disappeared. I thought omg, what good luck for us! I assumed it was just this thing that happens cuz I had been kicked many times and a representative told me it wasnt any ddosing, that their servers were just being weird. Anyway, it happens a couple more times as we get closer to finishing for my first flawless card. I was super stoked and thought we had the besg of luck... then they start giggling and making 'hypothetical' jokes.. like, "it would be a shame if they lost a teammate". And then I realized what they were doing.. even though they tried to say they dont know what Im talking about. So now 8 wins in, I guess they are cheating.. but do I really let myself lose? Do I just leave to find a new team who will screw my card? I didnt know what to do other than get the last win. And now, I'M banned from crucible for a week and Trials for 2?! Thanks! Pretty much the only thing worth looking forward to on the game and I cant cuz i joined a group of cheaters, which i didnt even know at first. Ill think twice about getting back on this garbage hassle of a game. Its always one problem or another, can never get a break. Games are supposed to be fun, not stressful.
You joined a group of cheaters, who violated federal law, and you got banned. You admitted that you knew what was happening, yet you stayed and reaped the benefits. It should have been a permanent ban.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von NerfPaladins06: 11/19/2016 5:46:10 AMSmug little shit. Based on how you're acting in this topic I am 100% certain you knew right away from the start you were in a ddos carry. I don't care if you ddos'd to victory, but your immature cocky attitude that you weren't perma banned, let alone on a public message board is unbelievable.

6 AntwortenBan is not enough they should take away any trials gear and emblems as well. Why do cheaters get to keep the loot they basically stole?
-
1 AntwortenI wonder what punishment your pals Michael and SikShot got?

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von jnikoley: 11/18/2016 11:36:32 PMA one week crucible, and 2 week Trials restriction is a definite injustice.
You should be outright banned from destiny and xbl, and recieve an ip ban from your ISP. You took part in a felony. You knew about it and benefited from it. You're like a getaway driver that claims ignorance "But your honor, how was I supposed to know when they got back into the car wearing ski masks and holding a gun and bags of money they just robbed a bank? Yeah, after the fifth time I got a little suspicious. When they gave me a my cut, er, I mean a tip, what was I supposed to do, refuse the money?Yeah, so some people got hurt, I only drove the car, it's not my fault".
-
Glad you realize you benefited from cheating. Nothing beats the bragging rights the lighthouse medals grant, Especially when it is assumed that we don't know cheaters are so well mixed with honest flawless, no one can tell them apart. Must be a real shame when Bungie weeds them out, even temporarily. Just don't do it again. Good luck.

If it was a permanent ban then I would agree with you, but two weeks seems like a fair punishment.

Bearbeitet von CWilliams983: 11/18/2016 10:33:18 PMI'm guessing this was First Light when you were on your Hunter? Yeah, when 3 straight teams lose 1-2 people, you know something is up.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von GrundleBeans: 11/18/2016 10:12:11 PM
I guess they are cheating.. but do I really let myself lose?
And that is why you are restricted. You knew they were cheating and you chose to take advantage of it anyways. You do not deserve sympathy for your actions. You should have been able to tell much sooner and if you did know they were cheating, you should have 1) reported them yourself, and 2) left. There are no excuses. Not wanting to lose your progress shows a lack of ethics.

You said it yourself, you realized what they were doing and continued to play and ruin other peoples games. You, and they, should be banned for longer, permanently for all I care and your rewards you got from that run removed.

4 AntwortenYou had to make a choice between right from wrong and you chose wrong. Lesson hopefully learned. Looks like you've got a couple weeks to think about integrity. Listen-up Buttercup. Don't go through life looking to blame others when bad things happen to you. It's not going to be someone else's fault. We are judged by the choices we make.

Too bad....

Bearbeitet von Benzene21: 11/18/2016 9:48:03 PMYou had the option to leave and didn't. Your fault 100%.

10 Antworten
So now 8 wins in, I guess they are cheating.. but do I really let myself lose?
Seriously?? If you thought or knew they were cheating AND DID NOT leave immediately -- then you are just as guilty and justly deserve the punishment.
Ill think twice about getting back on this garbage hassle of a game
Honestly - good riddance. Means there will be one less cheater.

Bearbeitet von DuplexGorilla53: 11/18/2016 9:48:48 PMSo the very short and to the point version of this is don't even dare to LFG up a team to play crucible as if you do and one of them is a dirty cheater then you are gonna get punished for something you know nothing about. Man it just gets better and better around this game. NEVER MIND read the rest of the post. Once you realized this bunch was cheating the thing to do is leave like right then. Come on really?
-
Bye now...

18 AntwortenYou made the conscious choice to benefit instead of leaving like you should have

1 AntwortenYour lucky it's only 2 weeks. And that work of fiction you posted might work with yo momma but it doesn't wash with the homeboys on here fool.

7 Antwortenquality brain.
banned for something that wasnt even my fault.

I guess they are cheating.. but do I really let myself lose?
Ill think twice about getting back on this garbage hassle of a game.
oh?
Games are supposed to be fun, not stressful.
Yet cheated... bruh.
2 weeks, Bungie is damn joke.
The second it happens twice in a row, it's VERY likely cheaters

Bearbeitet von Ares: 11/18/2016 9:14:25 PMIf players were "lagging out" every round it was obvious they being kicked and you were probably too happy and excited to care. Judging by your kd you probably weren't good enough to get to the lighthouse so this happened. Just go play another game for two weeks it's not the end of the world.
