Truth be told I'm not against SBMM system but ...
Do you try to force players into a 50% win/loss ratio?
Nope. As we’ve stated, your personal performance is a factor in the Guardians you end up confronting in battle, but we do nothing to artificially influence win streaks or alter individual player statistics
Ummmm 😒
Yea, I'm a bit skeptical
RNGesus blesses you with a competent team that doesn't try to cap three points...
BREAK IT UP
RnGesus curses you with suicidal shotgun warriors that took an oath to not touch a primary...
BREAK IT UP
I seriously can't think of any reason that mechanic exists OTHER than to try to artificially manipulate your win/loss
It doesn't speed up matchmaking
It's not finding a better connection
It is ONLY trying to make the matches closer
And even then it screws that up
I've had it kick me from a team, put me in a match that's in the process of getting mercy ruled, lose, break that team up, place me in another match that's almost over, lose, break that up...
How is that helpful to anyone?
I'm calling BS on Bungie's newest explanation.
Breaking up teams is definitely placing SBMM over all other factors.
Like I said, I'm not against SBMM in general.
Just don't fart in the room and blame it on the dog. I can feel the vibration through the couch for Christ sake.

The dog couldve blasted shit on the couch and you felt it hitting it.

Yeah I hate this message as well.

1 AntwortenYou sound like a scrub that thinks he's better than he is... sounds whiney...

2 AntwortenWhen this (title) happens I end up with the same 11 players that I played before
-
i can understand why the breaking up thing is there, say for example you beat a team with a mercy rule but none of them quit (or at least not enough to make a difference), then you face them again and mercy rule them again and so on so forth, its to prevent loops of endless steam rolling for 1 team and endless losses for the other but it doesn't really work so they might as well just not bother additionally 9/10 times i get a mercy rule against me i try to change lobby myself and i imagine most people are the same so the odds of that endless loop starting in the first place is super low

If the skill based part of the matchmaking was actually working as intended, there would be no reason to break up teams...It only happens when bungie thinks you've won by too many points. In close fought games you can find yourself playing against the same group over and over again.
-
They shouldn't break up the teams, they should find a equally skilled team for both of them. When they break up a winning team when I am, the next team I'm matched with is always a much worse one.

2 AntwortenAnswer me this, if the game is programmed to keep everyone at a 50% w/l how come I have an average 37% w/l?
-
Name and shame policy has changed. We name: Bungie. AND. WE. SHAME.

6 AntwortenThat shit is SO ANNOYING! game after game after game! Like you said, stomp one game, teams broken up, get put in a loosing game with like 2 mins left and the opposite team has full supers and heavy, teams broken up again, rinse repeat.... And then when you are in a lobby with a full fireteam that STAYS stomping your ass, that shit wont break up games. You can loose five fùckin games in a row and still get matched against the same team. Shit, sometimes you leave the lobby in orbit and then try to restart matchmaking and itll dump you in the same fückin lobby!!!

13 AntwortenBungo lost all credibility in my eyes when they nerfed MIDA. Their devs are incompetent. All good devs from year 1 have already left Bungie.
-
4 AntwortenThats because it is BS, and through testing we know its BS. Yet bungie still chooses to lie instead of just say it how it is and try something new. Whatever i guess.
-
Bump...well put
-
They already stated in previous statements that they're trying to give everyone a 50/50 win ratio.
-
1 AntwortenJust more proof that bungie is incompetent that they make teams that work well together break up instead of just trying to get the losing ones with a better group.
-
1 AntwortenSbmm is really only an issue for trials. Crucible doesn't really encourage team play, nor is it really competitive. Look at your own stats at the end of a match, the team they put you on shouldn't matter much, if your worried about your erin Loss in regular crucible your just gonna rage... Don't pizza when your supposed to French fry

More often than not you end up back with the same people, definite joke!!

2 AntwortenWent unbroken in one match, won the game epically. Broke up teams.... Next match, I am placed on team with toddlers who probably spent more time chewing on their controllers than playing the game. Not that they were worth shit anyway.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ramshacks: 11/19/2016 5:17:08 AMThey try to force you to a 1.0 kd. That has already been stated in previous patch notes for lack of better words. Trying to get you to this kd thus results in lowering your win percentage or for sucky players raising it lol
-
Yup, played a few games of control earlier, had a decent kd one game, got my ass handed to me every other game but not one team mate was going for a damn cap! I was trying to cap zones by myself every one of the 3 games and would just get smashed by the whole team
-
3 AntwortenI don't have enough friends in Destiny anymore (much less any who play Crucible) to fill up a 6man fireteam but is it a thing? when you have a good 6man team, to let the blueberries 'catch up' before stomping them? So that the match doesn't get broken up and you can keep stringing them along for a few more sure wins?
-
I'm so done with -blam!-ing Bungie and their bullshit matchmaking. Somehow I get matched with -blam!-ing LiL Sonic from -blam!-ing iAM?!? LIKE REALLY! He has a 2.5 kd and plays in -blam!-ing tournaments. Me? I have a 1.3 and have never played competitively at all.
