SBMM is broken. A log of a character with 0.0 K.d.
Year 1 really killed my k.d. for my titan. I just deleted my titan today who had a 1.4 k.d. My goal is 1.6-2.0. I will keep a log of my k.d.s on here. I will also keep this log to check if SBMM is working as "intended". Since I created my character with 0.0 k.d. I shouldn't be matched with top tier destiny players. Below I'll keep a log of my games.
Game 1: 1.1 k.d joined game late. (Control)
game 2: 1.0 k.d joined game late again... wth is up with the matchmaking bungie! (Salvage)
game 3: 1.25 k.d. joined the game late once again!!!! (control)
game 4: 1.00 k.d. Didn't join in late but played against a fireteam of 3! They got a mercy on my team
my teammates each got one kill a piece. I got 5 kills. One of my teammates had a 1.2 k.d. while the other teammate had a 0.99 k.d.
The enemy team consisted of a 1.63 k.d., 1.18 k.d. and a 1.21 k.d. Clearly SBMM is broken.
game 5: so... I got tired of getting beat up on and stomped. I decided to invite two of my friends who are pretty good at Crucible. I ended up getting a 3.5 k.d. With a 15 kill streak. Clearly something is wrong here. There seems to be no happy medium and SBMM heavily favors fireteams over solo players. Just sad.

I once played Destiny on a friend's account who never touched Destiny before. Nothing more to say. Got him a mark of the unbroken and had a 9+ k/D for the first games.

Bearbeitet von Biteria: 11/18/2016 4:52:55 PMPlayed on another's account who had a meh matador and a shitty hawksaw as a primary. Went 6.2 one game then unbroken the second....sbmm is a thing. Also one new character doesn't reset your accounts matchmaking to my knowledge. Could be wrong.

1 AntwortenI'm sure your sbmm is under your gamer tag, not your character. I'm just starting to understand how my warlock moves. My kd was .94 and .96 with Titan and hunter, .86 with warlock. I didn't feel like I was matched against lower skilled players with my warlock. Pretty sure they use your stats across all your characters to do it. Maybe build a new gamer tag, with a whole new Xbox live account? That might do it. I don't think it is worth the money.
