DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MY OPINION: Read the whole post and THEN tell me what you think :)
Just read the weekly update and my god it is embarrassing. I feel like i am being patronised by the people that sort out matchmaking and the crucible. When we say "I want to chill with my friends" you replied with "Well play private matches"!!!! What?!?! Well what if I want to chill by myself and I don't have friends online? "Well that's your fault for not having many friends?" Are you going to tell me that next? The whole problem is this element of skill based matchmaking. Having to put us in a pool of players that have equal skill makes the game very sweaty. Not to mention that not having PURE connection based matchmaking ruins any sort of consistency of certain weapons such as Hand Cannons, Auto rifles, and Shotguns in regards to hit detection. When we say we want to go into control with our friends, it means we don't want to have to try like it is a million dollar tournament to even have a chance. FIX THIS
Ok so reading through some of these comments has made me realise that I wasn't clear enough. So my solution is That here should be 2 different playlists.
1. A ranked playlist where if we want to compete in a focused environment so we can hone our skills for the better. This playlist offers rewards for doing well and offers the best chances for good rolls on weapons.
2. A casual playlist where if we want to chill and not have to try every game. This would have the current reward system that we have in place now.
I do understand that people want to improve and I am right behind you on that. But if we want to compete in a focused environment the we should be able to and not sweat like it is a $1000000 tournament. Hopefully this made my statement more clear. I love this game and I want it to be better and I have loads of respect for Bungie but they need to get this game right, so D2/3/4 and beyond can succeed.
PS: Anyone that who wants to see if im a noob. Get 2 or 3 friends and message vsoiitude on xbox and I WILL TRY and get 2 or 3 of my friends and we'll play a series. This is not to boost my ego. This is to prove i have some sort of weight backing my answer and people saying im a noob

I honestly don't mind getting sweaties. I hate their guts, but for me its a compliment, cause I'm not one and yet I'm constantly and consistently going against and having close matches with them. if I'm as good as people who rely on their shotguns and snipers and I only really rely on my auto, it's nice. doesn't mean I don't scream at my t.v. and get pissed off when someone is a try hard using only special for one shot kills and a high k.d. but I like the fact I'm somehow matched against try hards when I don't try hard

2 AntwortenI hear what you're saying about their reply, but hear me out. The only reason it's 'sweaty' is because people, you included, started to care about their kd and multi kills and winning. So they play hard. Honestly if you want to chill you should play something else. I just want a fair fight and not these laggy ones.

The only fix is dedicated servers and as long as Activision owns this Franchise it will never happen. There is no good way to P2P matchmake it's $hitty and they know it. You have one option, don't buy Activision shooter games.

21 AntwortenIt is the same for us in the lower brackets. We are playing against people of our own skill level. Which means I have to work my ass off just to get above even every match. The only people that would benefit from the change are the top 1%. Not only would us lower tier players still have to contend with each other. We would have to deal with getting farmed by superior players on top of it. SBMM needs to stay. Adjust it? Sure... Get rid of it altogether? No way!

I understand why they did it, but because of this SBMM thing I can't use the guns that I want to use anymore! I'm almost forced to run Clever Dragon and a shotgun because otherwise I'd just get outgunned. And for the people who like competitiveness there's Trials every weekend, and Iron Banner every month, there's absolutely no reason why Crucible should be this sweaty.

Well, most times they don't put me in even teams. I hate the felling i have to carry to get a win. And some matches are over from the start. Last match we spawned on A, and the whole team went for C.. over and over and over again. Thing is, the enemy can only spawn on A or C, so even if they manage to cap C.. the enemy still spawns there.
