I played Destiny on day one and quit shorty after cos there was no content. Then sold my PS4 but im getting a ps4 pro soon and thinking of coming back to the game.
How much has it changed and will i be able to keep up ? Without being overwhelmed by all this new content?
Im up to the part where the Suros Regime gun was considered OP

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von chickengoujohn93: 11/17/2016 1:52:33 PMTo be honest you barely played the game so the term "what has changed" doesn't even apply to you LOL. Making it to level 24 and classifying the game as "having no content" tells me that this game just isn't for you. If you do want to give it another shot, this time a bit more seriously, to make it to endgame you need to cough up more money because game you left is no longer here anymore. - Old strikes are pointless if they are not in current playlists - VoG is dead and the gear in it is absolutely useless now serving as mere trophies, relics of their former selves. - Directory PvP playlists (freedom of choice), Weekly Heroics, Dailies and Nightfalls are locked behind the Rise of Iron expansion. - There is a Classic PvP playlist, however it doesn't allow you to choose a specific game mode (Control, Clash etc.) as there are on rotation. Also Classics are a pub stomping haven. This is what you need to purchase: https://www.amazon.com/Destiny-Collection-PlayStation-4-Standard/dp/B01K63R7HY?th=1

Simply put, The game that was marketed before Y1 is what we have now. Vanilla Destiny was an embarrassment.

Bearbeitet von Jawiha: 11/17/2016 1:35:38 PMA whole lot has changed. Here's a very small list of some of the changes: Maximum ordinary level is now 40. (34 without expansions) Maximum light level is now 400 (at level 40). Class items now have stats. Ghost shells now have stats. There are artifacts to be obtained. Swords are a new type of heavy weapons. Sidearms are a new type of special weapons. There are 4 raids in total. There is a quest system now! Vanguard marks and Crucible marks have been replaced with Legendary Marks. Prison of Elders is an activity (some sort of horde mode). There is much more. But these are some of the things you can expect.

1 AntwortenHonestly, wait for a sale if you really really have an itch. The economy has been simplified, and with RoI the way you play the game has changed, from a min/max point of view. Suros and hawkmoon are now complete trash. VoG is still the best raid.

Eh. It's nothing like back in Year One. Microtransactions and RNG loot boxes are everywhere (the Halloween event was filled with them), plus weapons and armor have changed drastically. Suros Regime is no longer op. If you can find ways to keep yourself entertained then go for it, but keep in mind things have changed big time.

2 AntwortenStick to your original decision. All that has happened since confirms your original thoughts. 'Only the names and places were changed'...
