Things year 2/3 players will never understand
1. How important Etheric Lights were at one point and the grind to get them
2. How much farming of Crota people did to never...ever...get the crux only to find out you had wasted more time than a spinmetal farmer on Mars
3. The Fatebringer and Black Hammer phases
4. Not being aloud to raid because you didn't have Gjallarhorn
5. Having to grind bounties to get the Invective, Bad Juju or Thorn bounty to drop
6. Seeing Eris with her ship tied to the railing like it was going to float off or something
7. Having to wear a faction class item to rank them up
8. The madness people were driven to attempting to get Revenant shader
9. Getting a well done cloud from doing the Nightfall
10. The excitement and hype of DLC releases!

3 Antworten-When the rep progression bars were round. -When quests weren't a thing. -When xúr sold strange coins for glimmer. -When the speaker didn't exchange get materials. -When the factions didn't trade materials for rep. -When Sekrion was the NF. -When Thorn, Last Word, SUROS, Vex, Hawkmoon, and Red Death were OP (All during different periods of time). -Pocket Infinity was OP and Relevant. -When Gjallahorn, Black hammer, and Fate bringer was your only load out for PvE. Occasionally switching to Vision of Confluence or Word of Crota. -When we worshipped the three PvE kings. (Gjallahorn, (currently resurrected) Vex Mythoclast, (Now irrelevant) and Ice Breaker (Now forgotten)) -When going to patrol to collect 25 spin mental to upgrade ONE node on your amor or weapon. -When we had to do the raid countless times for materials to upgrade raid gear. -When Brother Vance had an inventory on rotation, so that you were not at the mercy of RNG as to which armor or weapon you got that week. -When the NF gave you wings...errr...flames and a bonus 10% xp gain. -When artifacts, sparrow horns, and emotes weren't a thing. -When eververse was the only way to get shaders and emblems and microtransactions didn't exist. -When RNG was harsh on raids, crucible, and strikes. -When 3oC didn't exist. -When there was Tiger, Dragon, ROC strikes. -When normal strikes could give exotics (not NF, normal strikes giving actual exotics. I got NLB, Universal Remote, and MIDA this way) I could keep going, but there's a speaker talking atm and I need to get my education on nuclear power plants. For some dang reason.

The awful sound of the mythoclast in crucible... that was a whole lot of nope.. having a sparrow that Didn't do flips, and the moment we got the first tumbler sparrow. The bounties on killing fallen walkers... Randal the vandal! Dinklebot!

Another thing is that people don't listen to you on the mic when raiding. I bet most of them is coming from Y2 and Y3. I'm a chill Y1 Vet that listens to what people say during raids

U forgot the most important thing in year 1... Nerds that think that they are special cause they played 1 year earlier then others. If u are gonna be arrogant then dont even play, I am also year 1 (very late year 1 but still counts) but I dont shit on people who decided to buy it one year later. Let me tell u there is nothing special in using one op rocket launcher for a whole year! And now if u special snowflakes are gonna reply, dont reply with something like "u jealos" or "U MAD BRO WE ARE YEAR ONE MLGSSSSS BOYZZZ" cause I am not jelaous, just amazed by the level of stupidity in this comm section. And this post is only meant for those who are acting like dicks in here, I realise that there also people who would just like to share their year 1 moments without acting like a stupid 12 year old special snowflake.

I never really had the issue of not being able to raid because I got my ghorn in early dark below. I never required ghorn though.

Why people who played a video game a year longer than other people think that it matters? You're right, we'll never understand....... especially since what 98% of year 1 gear/zones/quests/etc are irrelevant now

The OPness of red death, hawkmoon, TLW, thorn, suros regime and when the strangers rifle was actually useful(red death dayz) why cant it be yr1 all over again and even tho shotguns were were a problem then, atleast we had primaries that damaged a rushing shotgunner rather than shooting airsoft guns at them.

I hated losing heavy after dying especially for crota phase..also running vog with blues I also remember some of the crazy strats we tried..anyone ever climbed up the right hand side to do gatekeepers?
