Sooooo many requirements.
Ive been unlucky and haven't been able to do wotm hard mode cause my old raid team have mostly moved on from destiny. And trying to lfg is ridiculous people are asking for more than a bank when applying for a home loan!
You must:
Be 400
Have last weeks emblem
Know what to do
Have 100k deposit
And good credit history
Love destiny but -blam!- me this shit is getting old.

1. Im 400 on 1 toon and 398 on the other 2. Light is not the problem.
2. I DO MAKE MY OWN POSTS. But usually end up with people like me that want to learn which just doesnt work when we're all noobs to hm

#2 on your list says it all. So you don't want to play with others that have the same experience or no experience like yourself? Just like everyone has to do when the raid first comes out? 1st week of hard mode my team and I were all around 390 light we managed just fine. Make your own group I'm sure with everyone around 395-400 by now yall should be okay. On top of the ungodly amount of youtube vids explaining strats for the raid, idk maybe you just want to be carried.

I joined groups at the beginning - wasted half my life going round in circles when it all went wrong But I learnt, got gd, and now I own it. I ask for higher stats because I don't want to go back to the days of constantly wiping, watching whilst half the team rage quits and ending up at 3am with fk all rewards? I've walked the mile.

I don't mind helping people when i have the time. But I'm a older gamer..lol Work, wife, kids, after school activities, family things... etc. etc. So, there is not a lot of free time i can devote to destiny. My group will usually have to pick up 1 maybe 2 rando's from time to time for a raid or 2 a week. When we do, we just want to knock it out we usually just find someone at 399-400 has completed multiple times, has completed challenge mode so we can knock out 1-2 raids within a couple of hours and move on. After that, if i do have free time, i have no problem helping people through the raid. But doing so, you need to have a good amount of time. Avg raid time for newer people is about hour and half 2 hours. compared to 40 min or so for a well oil team that can just run through it.

Let me fix this post for you. "I'm a bitch and I don't want run the raid with other inexperienced players like me, will somebody that has already put the time into the struggle please carry me through?"

One guy had a friend who could join but said, "I'm not sure if he's beaten the raid before." We all said its fine, we'll help him. He joined up and said he's gotten to Aksis phase 2 but never beat it. This guy was straight cancer. He didn't know where to go for empowered and would get angry at us for not doing our jobs when it was him messing up. I just wish people would say, "I don't know what to do" [spoiler]rant over[/spoiler]

Like: -Must be well groomed. -Must have owned a dog at one point in life. -Must know how to swim. -Must have two thumbs. -Must give speech to self in mirror every morning about how great a day it will be. -Must like cereal. -Must have a front door. (I mean, would you trust someone that doesn't?) -Must own at least 3 shirts, with or without a collar. -Be willing to lie about being experienced, then act confused when someone says "empowerment". -Will boot if you say "what's an Icebreaker". -Must have climbed a tree. (Not at the tower you lazy fat -blam!-, a REAL tree). -Have max Radagast. But don't use it. Will boot. -Must show emblem you didn't earn. (Seriously I have the one for playing all the Bungie games and having the dot.net account, never owned an XBox.) I've used most of these before. And NO ONE follows the requirements! I mean how hard is it?? Can't count how many times pubs are like "Wha? Groomed?" And I'm like READ THE POST! Or how many I've had to boot because their mediocre rocket launcher wasn't entirely leveled up! Like, come on dude! You're supposed to stare at that rocket launcher for several minutes when you get it, leave it alone for a while, then level it up, swear to try it out, then never ever use it! This is how Destiny works, man! They make the meta for a reason! Vault space is for all the hand cannons and machine guns your buddy promised was the sickest thing for Crucible! <sigh> Just follow the requirements bruh.

Yeah, back in my day if you did not have gally you couldn't raid, I was lucky enough to join atheon cp's as my Mida did 1000 dmg to ath. The day after wotm came out on norm, ppl were saying "Must know what to do Must be 370+" And same with hard mode: "Must know hard mode changes Must be 390+" Now its 395+

Join a clan! Xallegiancex.com. big, active community. Raids are scheduled everyday. Find one that works for you timewise and signup. Don't see one.? Request in the request forum and an admin will help you out. NM, HM and training runs.

Edit #2 is a crap excuse. If you don't know the encounter via youtube by now(at least the general concept) there is no hope. When HM came out alot of us went in blind and conquered it.
