Really, you are. I don't mean this in a rude way, but this is exactly how a toddler would act.
They'd want something, and they'd go and whine to the parents. The parents would say no, and y'know what the toddler would do? Cry. Throw a fit. Scream. Either the parent gives them what they want, making life worse for the parent and toddler, or they wait for the toddler to get over it.
You're also acting like an angsty teen.
Once they're done wanting it, they mope about how the parents give them nothing, even if they're trying to provide. Even if the parent explains why they can't have it, they'll continue moping, sometimes yelling at the parent.
Now on to the moral.
Treat Bungie like your partner, and give them some space. Let them do what they see fit, and if you're not a fan, be civilized and bring up what's wrong. If it's a mutual agreement that something should be changed, they'll change it. Don't insult them.
TL;DR: Relax. Please.
EDIT: You guys can stop responding to this post. It's irrelevant in #destiny, honestly.

I agree. Constructive criticism. Point out good things and things that need work.
-
But don't toddlers have the right as consumers to criticize a product they spent their money on? Wait... Nevermind...

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von yourchutoy: 11/15/2016 1:50:21 PMSBMM is f***** up we get it! The thing is this. All of the complaints about the issue have quickly become nothing more than negativity. People are angry about it I do understand that. Everyone has a right to their opinion and to be upset about something. That doesn't give you justification to start bitching and ranting all over the forums throwing fits to get your way. Making fun of the admins making fun of Bungie ( calling them Bungo ) is childish it's as simple as that! We are all supposed to be adults on here. Can we please show a level of maturity in that respect? Look. I understand that you are all mad I am in the same boat as you. I am an avid Iron Banner player and I can't begin to describe the amount of frustration that I feel towards having to face red bar opponents. Thing is this. I choose to be an adult about this and I choose to understand that not everything can be fixed with the flip of a switch or the wave of a magic wand it just doesn't work that way. People also need to understand that CBMM has its own problems and those problems maybe the reason why Bungie decided to switch. We also need to remind you that Activision has a very big hand in everything that Bungie does and placing the blame squarely on bungee shoulders is unfair and stupid. Please can we all just calm down and give the situation a little time?

3 AntwortenHey, don't relate this community to toddlers. Some of us actually have toddlers that don't act like this.

I thought this was going to be a post about the Hurt Feelings of the Dems because Uncle Trump won!!!!!!

Can't tell you how many times I write in someone's post. Baby cry to mother bungie.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von GG ALLIN RIP: 11/15/2016 12:29:01 PMI've always said the same thing, however Bungie has been f-cking up pretty royally when it comes to the fans. If they didn't want to hear anything negative, they never should've given fans voices so much weight to begin with. Anyone should've known that little kids and "mature" teens would fill their forums with nonsense demands and ideas. BUT, they did. Hence having figurehead's with names like "Cozmo" and "Deej". So, when those figurehead's ignore important topics to the fan base, but will pop their heads up to make snarky remarks or comment on fluff posts that jerk off the company or their game; people start to notice and get a little irritated. And it's not just the kids. Adults are tired of it too. Like me. My suggestion to everyone is to say "screw it". Just stop playing the game so much. There's a lot of REALLY good titles out right now. Take a break from Destiny or learn to start playing it more casually. I ALWAYS play IB. It's probably my favorite Destiny mode. But, I didn't play much this past week after playing Titanfall 2 all week prior. It's hard to go from a game with dedicated servers, quick load times and ZERO connection issues, to going back to Destiny just to sit at the loading screen for five minutes and grind out matches for loot against shitty p2p connections. It wasn't fun, so I stopped playing. I know "casual" is a bad word here, but give it a shot. It's actually a little more fun than playing the game like it's a job. And if they see a dip in their player count, maybe, just MAYBE they'll take some of us seriously. Because for the past two years, they've known you're still going to give them money and play the game no matter how much complaining anyone does.
I hate to think that LethalViper was right...
Look I'm a kid and I understand that it takes time to add things to the game I don't keep on saying I want this in the game, and then when I get it in the game I don't say its to hard for me, and that is should be nerfed or removed. No I deal with life. Bungie just gave us Rise of Iron, I'm at fine for a good year at least, with what I got. Plus if you hate whats in the game then don't play it.

2 AntwortenYeah, well, you started it. And my Dad's bigger than your Dad.
Just kidding (although he probably is)
THE BANDWAGON COMMUNITY

You're asking them to behave with a level of maturity that many of them simply aren't capable of (yet, hopefully).
-
I have a 3 year old son going through this stage... You're right on lol!
-
Why you mad?
-
For real. All these kids acting like they're pros who are dropping 4.0s every match, when they're average like the rest of us. If you're not a player with brand new, positive numbers skewing your matchmaking or a pro with ridiculous numbers, then it doesn't affect you. The majority of us aren't that good; get over yourself. You're in the same standard lobbies as the rest of us.
-
They also act like current day teen/college folk millennials who think they deserve everything - give them their participation trophy. We are doomed.
-
Your intelligence and reasoning has no place here good sir.
-
People should just move on to a better game.

4 AntwortenSame kids that are being coddled by universities nowadays. That's what happens with safe spaces and trigger warnings and participation trophies. These kids have no real life experience and have no tools to deal with real life. They will get a rude awakening soon...

Kind of understand your point. I just don't understand why people get upset when they are not being listened to. In my experience of how any other business works on such issues, the customer(s) feed back their thoughts and the business analyses, then makes the best adaptations, based on resource and necessity. If the customer(s) are not satisfie, they will continue to feedback and complain. If the issues are still not resolved, customers eventually move on to something new. Given the game is over 2 years old, why don't people just move on if they are deeply unhappy?

20 AntwortenMost people on this forum are angsty teens though.

Maybe it's the cost... I don't really know the numbers when it comes to the company (and neither am I able to do the research since I'm at my break between classes) but what if the funds going into bungie just isn't enough to support a replacement for sbmm. I don't know much about programming but I do know they've said before yay most of their work is going into destiny 2. I think all we can really do is hope that it's implemented into the next game instead of begging for it to be put into a game that will ultimately have a player base that shifts to the next game. The community just needs to be patient.
