I do not agree or disagree. I am pretty much ambivalent in regards to the subject. I can see both the plus side and the negative.
I take exception to people trying to hijack the forums with multiple threads about the same topic though. One big thread, in the feedback section, with thousands of upvotes, would send a clear message to Bungie about how you all feel. But instead, you decide to flood the boards with multiple posts. It is clear that this is the work of a streamer and his mindless followers.
So what I have done is muted every thread and author that creates a SBMM thread. Now I can enjoy the actual discussions on the forums.
I recommend that everyone that does not give a fig about this topic does the same.

7 AntwortenWhy did you feel the need to post a thread about this, that is a personal preference of yours, do it on your own time, you don't need to announce it to the community because we don't care. I clicked on it to see if it was a Bungie employee or something like that saying we are ignoring SBMM requests, but it turned out to be nothing. Why post this?

1 AntwortenSaying you're going to mute people who talk about SBMM is like saying "I'm not going to talk to you anymore" to a random stranger you meet on the street. The won't give a shit and they'll proceed with their day while you make yours worse and waste your time. Just saying.

7 AntwortenOk, so why announce it? This is what social media has done. It's given the illusion that we need to hear about every little thing people do. Or that we are interested. I get it, the SBMM posts got a little out of hand. But making a post, announcing your intent to mute them all is just as bad, and less constructive. Congratulations, you've made a post that's more pointless than the posts you mute.

7 AntwortenNo one asked, but K I guess. You don't have to make a whole post saying something that no one will notice.
-
1 AntwortenI don't blame you it really was annoying scrolling through all of that stupid just to hit actual discussion.

13 AntwortenThe only reason people are ranting about sbmm is bc they did good in HoW and Taken King so now they're being punished for their higher k/d ratios. I'd love to go use my shadow price and have some fun, but unless I want to get shat on by hordes of 1 second kill time grasps and clever dragons, I can't do that. The easiest solution would be not to play pvp but for some the single player content in this game is too dry so they come to pvp. It doesn't help that one of the ways to get to 400 light is crucible weeklies and post game drops, not saying there's anything wrong with getting high light drops in crucible is bad, it's just that it's an easier alternative than doing the nightfall and raids are so hard to put together these days that unless you have a dedicated team or you wanna try your luck with lfg, which with my experience hasn't been exactly great you can't exactly get to 400 easy in pve. But alas I have gotten off topic. In summary people just want to have a fun pvp like overwatch but in destiny.

Totally agree.

4 AntwortenI'm ok with the constant spamming of these posts, and here's why. If there was a single post, no matter how popular it is, it probably wouldn't get much attention from Bungie. I think new posts are irrelevant now because we already have Bungie's attention, but I don't think they would have taken notice had the community not spoken about it in so many posts. The numerous posts only further encouraged change, which is what most people want anyway. So I have the utmost respect for those who made posts regarding SBMM, because something about it needs to change.

I tried on the app, they don't disappear even after you refresh.

1 AntwortenPeople want change and are willing to do irrational things to get it. Just like Trump getting president.
